Copyright Criminals

Interesting documentary about the legalities of sampling music (specifically hip-hop). Shows perspectives from both sides of the industry. Hard to call who's side to take on this one.

Re: Netflix "Watch Instantly"

I'm looking for some good documentaries. I'm too lazy to search so I'd appreciate anybody's suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Just saw Buried, Ryan Reynolds wakes up in a coffin buried underground and has a lighter and a cell phone. It isn't exactly an easy watch but it is an interesting film and worth 90 minutes.

Thats kind of what I took from it too. Still not sure how I feel about it.

Overall though, I didn't really enjoy the documentary that much. The funky drummer is boss though

Watched Kissing Jessica Stein last night. Surprisingly good, well paced with convincing acting.

OT: Is there anywhere on 2p2 discussing Amazon's instant library? I'm contemplating springing for Prime, and wanted to know if its worth it for the watch instant library. I'm sure there is a ton of overlap between Netflix and Amazon, so how much exclusive content does Amazon have?

I just watched the current season episodes I missed of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia on Amazon. Amazon seems to be the only website that has it.

Flame and Citron http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0920458/

Is a drama that has some good action in it and is a good story. I don't want to give too much away but it has some similarities to Munich (Think spies and double agents). The movie is subtitled but well worth it imo.

Danny Greene: The Rise and Fall of the Irishman http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1286747/

Is a documentary about Danny Greene, leader of the "Celtic Mob" in Cleveland Ohio in the 1970's. Basically, a guy who didn't take **** from anyone and if you got in his way, he'd kill you. He was also an FBI informant. He hated Italians and the Cosa Nostra so it was like his life's work to bring them down. There is a movie about it as well but not on Netflix.

Re: Netflix "Watch Instantly"

I watched Mystery Team last night. It's about 3 teenage friends who have been solving mysteries together since they were kids. Now their going to graduate highschool but are still very childish and their mystery solving days are coming to a close. I didn't have high expectations but it was really funny and a lot of dark humor. Plus Aubrey Plaza is in it.
