Ratcatcher and High & Low are two of my favorites on that list. Pierrot le Fou, too.

Pickpocket is my favorite from all of those; L'Aventura and and The Passion of Joan of Arc are very cool too.
Ton of quality movies on that list

"With her entertaining documentary, Anat Baron ushers viewers into the backrooms and breweries of the ultracompetitive beer industry and reveals what it takes for independent brewers to compete with the corporate giants who dominate the business. With a background that includes a successful career as a Hollywood producer and a stint as the general manager of Mike's Hard Lemonade Co., Baron is uniquely suited to tackle this subject matter."

Was definitely an interesting watch.

Other thing that surprised me was that the typical "profession" of the customers and the reasons why they went. Do say BS on the subtitles regarding costs of the various bottles. An evening out can't possibly be that expensive even converted to the now weak American dollar.
Just watched this last night. I was engrossed the entire time. Very good.

Def a sick list.

The Third Man is in my top 5. The Criterion Blu-Ray went out of print a few months ago and goes for over $50 already. So I kinda told an online rental service (wasn't Netflix) that I lost it, and paid the $19.99 fee.

My main problem with the movie was neither of the two independent brewers focused on were all that interesting, especially the Dogfish guy...nothing really ever happened in that storyline.

I think you're in the minority on that one wrt Sam Calagione (dogfish guy). He is likable and interesting plus his perspective on the industry is one of the best. Solid documentary worth a watch.

What a piece of crap that movie is.

Lynch is anything but bourgeois. Sometimes he's really interesting and provocative, sometimes he's hopelessly ******ed, but he's never bourgeois.

A lot of the Ken Burns PBS documentaries are now available including the Civil War and the World War II films.

Tried watching the Civil War one a few days ago and there was no volume through both my Wii and PC. I filed a problem report on netflix and it still isn't fixed. Anyone else having this problem?

Watched this the other night and it was absolutely hysterical! I haven't seen a movie that made me laugh as much as i did at this one in a very long time.It felt like I cross between an early John Waters movie and a day of the dead film.

I shall investigate forthwith

EDIT: Irène (Audrey Tautou), who makes a fortune sweet-talking rich men, puts the moves on klutzy Jean (Gad Elmaleh), unaware that he's just a hotel bartender. But by the time Irène realizes her mistake, Jean is hopelessly smitten with her. Letting men down easy has never been Irène's strong suit, but she finds a way to mend Jean's broken heart that ensures he'll never have to mix cocktails again. Vernon Dobtcheff co-stars in this wacky French farce.

Sounds worth a watch, I suppose. I'm a sucker for love stories.
