Amalthea

How can you not be that someone thinks "Amalthea" is a good name for her daughter

I'd name my daughter Happenstance.

Now that I think about it, this is probably why no one wants to have sex with me.

Nevermind, I was thinking of Callie. Callie's a cool name, but Cassie's ok too. Just don't spell either one with a K.

I like this, even moreso because it will inevitably be shortened to Happy, which I think would be awesome.

When I see Callie I think of Callie Shaw, Frank Hardy's girlfriend. She got pwned badly, it was pretty shocking to read about as a kid.

when I was teaching tennis to inner city kids i had my share of interesting names I had to learn how to pronounce correctly.

One time I'm looking at the name list, see a name, and do a double take. I ask the mother of the child how to pronounce her daughter's name. She looks at me all offended, rolls her eyes and says:

"Eu-reen" Like, how else would you pronounce it?

Of course, it was spelled, "urine."

At my school, nearly all the Emmas were really attractive, at least a 7+, including a couple of absolute stunners. Small sample size though obv.

As mentioned previously, Holly and Heidi are nice names, but that may be clouded by the I've only known of each, and both were ridiculously beautiful.

Despite the goddess that is Megan Fox, I really dislike the name Megan. The 'egg' sound is too harsh and reminds me of the word 'Smegma', which is not good for obvious reasons. Pronouncing it 'Mee-gan' is no better.

And to whoever really liked the name Justine, I presume you are not from England. Over here this name genrally belongs to the Trisha-trash dregs of society who are great-grandmothers before they reach 50. (Apologies to any one with a Justine in the family )
