2) Kill your other 26 y-o-v friend you are doing him a favour (spelt with a 'u')

3) Kill yourself

If you like this guy's company, and he isn't negatively affecting your life, why wouldn't you stick by him? If you genuinely don't care to be around him, then start to drift away from him for awhile, and let the relationship die or save itself naturally.

Don't think that you have to make any concrete decisions on this any time soon...

I'm glad I don't have friends who "dump" friends because they're akward in a bar or wear the wrong coloured t-shirts. A lot of people in this thread are sounding like grown men using the reasoning of 14 year old girls.
