Again, my list would be ridiculous. I'd be pretty surprised if there was a single person who has seen more movies in theater than I have in the last ~8 years. I guess maybe like a film critic but even then, it's very rare I don't see a movie in theater and if I enjoy it a lot I will see it multiple times. It's my absolute favorite hobby and I don't really know why- something about the big screen & surround sound I suppose. Would have a lot more money if I didn't enjoy it so much

It kills me that ****ing Trainwreck is what inspired this thread. Is there another Trainwreck that isn't the Amy Humor one? Bc wow was that mediocre. I mean LeBron was great but Suzzer seems like the kinda guy who would hate him. I mean he hates Cutler so clearly he hates the greats

This is why I can't put Tombstone on my list, even though there's a decent chance I have spent more overall combined hours in my life watching Tombstone than any other movie. It's on TV all the time and is watchable at any juncture, and I've seen every second of that movie several times over, but I honestly can't remember watching it all the way through.

I was surprised Dazed and Confused and Princess Bride haven't been on more lists. Those would be my top two, along with multiple John Wayne movies.

My dad was obsessed, so I've seen True Grit, The Shootist, Big Jake, Rio Bravo, She Wore a Yellow Ribbon, Chisum, and The Cowboys AT LEAST three times each. Probably a couple more Wayne movies, too.

Black Hawk Down has a similar scene.

Boiler Room - because one of the guys in our trading group used to work in one and told us how realistic it was.

Ronin - because BMW, Audi, Puegeots, and a Citroen racing through France.

The Way of the Gun - because ultra-violence.

Act of Valor - because real Navy SEALs, yo. Filmed real training missions make up most of the movie.

The only ones I've definitely seen more than 3 times are Office Space, Blood Sport and The Room.

I've probably seen a few others (Big Lebowski, Die Hard, Anchorman, Rounders, Pulp Fiction, Good Will Hunting, etc) like 3-4 times. I hardly ever watch movies anymore period since I generally enjoy TV shows a lot more.

We watched that entire movie and never played cards until it was over. I have watched that several times along with most everything on other's lists in this post.
My late friend John, who served in Normandy at Hill 112, didn't like that famous opening scene of Saving Private Ryan. 'Bit too intense,' he said, because battle isn't like that, a dynamic and purposeful and heroic rush all done and dusted in 20 minutes. Instead you find somewhere to hide, and hide there, and then despite all the noise nothing happens for a very long time, and then it does happen -- someone near you gets killed -- and you wish it hadn't.

And the Rangers didn't take the German strongpoints on Omaha Beach in 20 minutes. It was more like six hours. Like everyone else the Rangers lost their nerve and just lay there getting shot at all morning until Brig-Gen Norman Cota literally kicked them up their backsides and told them to do their job and take out the German machine-gun posts. They then had to do the hardest thing, to summon back the nerve they'd lost and get on with it all over again. You do see some of this in The Longest Day, where Cota is played pretty well by Robert Mitchum. Ryan is technically good movie-making, but it's jingo ra-ra stuff, and The Longest Day, although it doesn't have the gory in-your-face effects, gives a far truer account.
