Two iirc, neither were very memorable. It could just be that two was such a let down after one that expectations going into three were non-existent.

I like the 2nd one a lot

Oh man, weird, I was just talking today with my uncle about how Matrix 2 was soooo bad, that I fell asleep in the theater, and never bothered to rewatch the entire thing or see 3. So, I guess it has to be Matrix II.

Such a ****ing tragedy considering how incredible The Matrix is. It still holds up today when viewed as a solo/unfinished piece. Man, I bet there are enough unfulfilled people out there who still adore the original, that they could probably apologize, remake both sequels, and show a profit on new versions of the final two chapters with completely different mythology.

2 was abysmal, especially when you factor in how much it failed in the face of all its hype. However, three was so utterly forgettable and lame I have to say that it was worse. They're both really bad

Edit: After looking back on it, and recalling the disgust I felt when walking out of the theater after 2, at the last second I voted for 2 as the worst

2 was saved by the neo v 100 agent smiths fight. 3 had no redeeming qualities at all.

ok this is gonna sound weird but bear with me

imagine after seeing the first movie and being all pumped up and expecting even more ego gratification from the second and third films you were all of sudden presented with the harsh reality that things are not as they seem, and that nothing ever lives up to its expectation and after enough time everything becomes cheesy and generic and barely worth fighting for

that was the whole point of the sequels. they were supposed to make you throw away all hope - for better or for worse

you guys voting for Matrix 2 beiong the worst one are only basing it on your expectations going in after watching the masterpiece that was the FIRST MATRIX!!!...and that is flawed logic IMO.

Look at the movies individually, as solo pieces, and dont compare them to the first one (or even worse, the hype and expectations following the first one)...and then you will be able to answer the OPs poll correctly, IMO.

the sequels aren't even that bad if you like the first one. it became the cool thing to say that the first one was phenomenal and the sequels were an abomination, but it's just not true.
