Once he trolls the SUB thread, moving SUB's thread without nuking him cannot be the right way to go.

When you take away an account with even a couple hundred posts you are forcing them to leave or come back on a little/no activity account. Everyone automatically assumes its a previously banned poster and are much harsher critics, especially mods.

When people have no fear of losing the account and going back to being worried they will be banned on every post (or at least unsure if they will be banned or not) it creates better posters. No one needs sli.pslo.pe, just like no one needs Rapini posting here either.

as Larry mentioned, there is really no reason whatsoever for you to post here. nobody(and I do mean NOBODY) cares one iota what you have to say on any topic whatsoever and certainly has no desire to joke around with you. you can't have it both ways in that regard sorry. tyrants can't flip-flop between the two, especially when they are as despised(and rightfully so) as you are.
before you few hangers-on start whipping out the irony cry again, here is the difference between what rapini does and what i am doing:
-rapini ****s with basically everyone except his insular crew of minions
-I **** with basically no one except for the odd guy that thinks he can talk **** to a mod, and more specifically this mod(see: chopstick)

but to answer your question before i go back to ignoring you rapini, the chopstick ban was not a joke ban like yaks. it was a real ban of a guy that has given me a hard time on numerous occasions, was just warned in this very thread he was going to get lit up if he kept it up, yet also seems to have the misguided notion that he is immune to such things.


Larry(and Yak in OP) also astutely noted that there needs to be a little more fear in posting to balance out the good with the sucky. I can't disagree at this point.

jj i have no idea what forum you mod, but i do know that once you became a mod you started to suck really, really bad and became that hall monitor guy that also defends all mods under all circumstances regardless of how much they suck. the fact you cry about me commenting about other mods and also tell me i suck is kind of contradicting yourself.

Dead on. Although I play live about 1000 hours/year, Rapini is the main reason I've given up on B&M, and I'm sure I'm not alone.

If he just banned those he didn't like, it would be a big improvement.* Instead, he puts on his lab coat and goes to work on each thread, deleting and editing posts as he sees fit, and it all ends up an unreadable mess.

It's really quite sad that 2+2 doesn't have a live poker forum that doesn't annoy and drive people away.

Have you tried it recently? I was always pretty clear that I left B&M for the same reason - but with Mat overseeing things my understanding is that's its much less ridiculous than it was 4 or 5 years ago.
