Basically impossible to punish kids in school, parents just as much as fault as the kids.

I'm not entirely sure what a bus monitor is supposed to be doing, but I would guess it has something to do with getting the kids to behave. It looks like she isn't cut out for the job.

This is what happens when you cant smack kids, they have no fear.
wtf at bus driver, when we were kids and got out of line (we didnt have any monitor) he pulled over to the side of the road and got out of his chair and started yelling at us

It's not just that, you put any punishment on the kid, and the parents are up there bitching and moaning and threatening to sue, and the administration backs down and gives no support to the teachers/aides/etc...
You throw little punks like this out of school or into a rubber room for a few days and see if it takes it out of them. But you can't even do that.

This is exactly what I thought as well. We didn't have bus monitors either, but like you said act up or get too loud and that bus is going to the side of the road and we are getting yelled at.

The only punishment you need is to tell the parents their kid isnt allowed to ride the bus anymore. Once mommy and daddy have to inconvenience themselves to take junior to school, if they dont straighten him out, then who gives a ****, hes not on the bus anymore and its problem solved.

kinda sad that cuz ****ty people keep breeding, this is the vehicle society has to take in order to keep idiots in line.

That assumes the punishment will stick. The parents will bitch to the administration about how hard it is on them and demand to get back, and the school caves.
Your solution assumes logic.
