Whats up everyone. Just wanted to tell you a little bit about why I would create a thread like this. And I hope its in the appropriate forum, as you can see I am a 2+2 newb.

Let me start off by saying I don't even know what evil is or if evil even exists. What is exactly is evil? Throughout history we have seen our fair share of evil people. Hitler, Stalin, the list goes on and on.

Would you consider the human race to as a whole by evil? And if so please explain why or how a thing like "evil" can even exist. Where does it come from?

Is your question "are people inherently good or bad?". If the "human race" was evil. I would guess that we would currently live in chaos if existent at all.

Overall, no. Sure, there are some people who are douchebags or who are only looking out for their own self interests. As a whole, I think most people are okay.

Nice post, although I think you will generate a better and more productive discussion if you post this in the Science, Math, and Philosophy forum. I think it depends honestly. It can be, and it can be amazing. It really just depends on the environment it was raised in.

For example Germany in WWII. It wasn't just Hitler that was evil. Most of the country and turned into a racist, hateful country.

Humans are mainly what they're taught through environment and experiences.

NO one cares what Faulkner said and no one cares what OOT says.

The answer is no.

Humans are just a struggle of the old beast ways and the new civilized mindset, here and there your gonna get ur Gandihs and Hitlers, they balance themselves out. There's ur answer, the rest of OOT is usually to stuck in ego games to bother with real question and answers so might as well /thread.

What academic proof do you have of this? I would confidently state this is megalomaniac bollocks.

What statistics or research do we have that confirm that "most" of the country had turned into a racist, hateful country?

Hitler received thousands of letters every single year from Germans, some giving him recommendations on future policies, wishing him happy birthday, offering their support. Once WW2 started letters of support pretty much ceased to exist, and people sent letters being critical of WW2.
