Thankfully 2+2 message pings last pretty long but there is a lot of debris to sift through.

I've been curious for a few days now, are all these hits on so called debris found via satellite images followed by a whole bunch of nothing subsantial found to be expected in such an investigation, or are they more likely "PR moves" to make it look like they are advancing the case?

I'm curious because if it's to be expected to get a lot of false positives from such an investigation, why let every satellite image get the public's hope up? Wouldn't it be better for them to tell they are constantly looking at potential leads and that if they find anything real they'll announce it right away? What's the advantage of saying time after time "we found something new on a satellite image!!"?

The families are demanding to know everything. Thinking they're making things up for a pr move seems pretty dumb.

It's not like this stuff was spotted five miles off the Jersey shore. Plus, they had some really rough seas (40 foot waves). Aviation Week says that the U.S. Navy will be sending P-8s out (their new sub hunter based on the 737 airframe) and it will be dropping sonobuoys to listen for signals from the black boxes.

In answer to your question, there seems to be no advantage in making claims other than to feed the voracious 24-hour news monster that everyone seems to be addicted to.

grunch

are you dumb? I have read almost all of this thread except the last few days while on vacation. You and Arctic decided to make a judgment against me in which you were wrong. Since you yourself has agreed he hasnt offered much of his own opinion on what ACTUALLY HAPPENED then you agree with my reason for asking the question.....i mean are you serious?

and again, if he doesnt want to speculate fine, but I had not seen him mention anything other than "tired of media coverage, yes we dont have enough info"

and you have the ****ing nerve to say you dislike rude people when youre the one making assumptions.

Sorry for assuming you hadn't read his posts. I was probably confused by you saying you didn't know if it had been asked before and by you saying you had skimmed just 12 of his posts. I can certainly see how I was wrong to assume you hadn't read his posts given the information I had.

Perhaps some people can't be changed, but some definitely can. I don't like the words sheeple or conspiritard as they have been stigmatized and only do harm as they keep us divided.

Wouldn't pressure from the families increase the likelihood of PR bull****?

It is extremely unlikely that it would lead to making stuff up ,it is reasonably likely that it would lead to reports of stuff they are pretty certain is unrelated but has a small chance of being so.

Guys, ShaneG denies the existence of satellites and will go hard to the paint that people who look through telescopes and see the ISS are all in on/duped by the conspiracy. Really, don't bother engaging him.

Upon further consideration, I will do my best to incorporate this metaphor into my vocabulary.

You don't even need to look through a telescope to see satellites. Link to his reasoning?

EDIT: Oh wow I just did a search and he's also a holocaust denialist..

So anyone who thinks that the numbers are way off base is a denialist? I'm sure there were many deaths from various causes, but It doesn't take a genius to work out that it would have been nigh on impossible for six million jews to have died in that period,

This is the thing, you're bogged down with all of these false belief systems that you've been indoctrinated with since a youth. I avoid belief systems all together, if u just believe everything that you're told by the establishment via media/tv then you're setting yourself up for failure and needless to say are very gullible.

MrSheep, I mean MrWookie is the resident "they told us, so its true" guy around here. He thinks since a 911 truth-er believes in reptiles, all 911 truth-ers believe in reptiles. Save your energy and don't bother engaging him.

Exactly. People look at David Icke and Alex Jones and try to tar all critical thinkers with the same brush. They don't realize that these guys are controlled opposition and that there are genuine truth seekers out there who don't subscribe to the disinformation that certain shills propagate.
