I believe Im supposed to optimize/engineer processes in relation to business strategy and existing IT architecture (but what do I know).

Iirc Suzzer recently acquired a similar job and started a thread about it.

Yeah, that really sounded like a fun job

The difference between a big multinational and a top performing semi governmental organisation is huge so Im not too worried about his experiences, we do things in quite a different way with much more direct access to upper management to actually make things happen (afai could tell about suzzers posting).

Yak,

Is the new job with a big multinational?

Yak,

Ok cool. If you were now with a big multinational I was gonna suggest maybe holding off on the Ching Chong Jackie Chan jokes for a while, but at the Dutch org I figure it's no problem.

Alobar is still in jail iirc.

Yak -

lol that a "semi governmental organisation" can actually make anything happen.

I seem to remember you offering a bounty for anyone catching you posting in the Politics forum. Do I remember correctly? Is this still in play? Because I would argue that your current posting in a certain ATF thread is de facto posting in Politics and would like to claim the bounty.

Thoughts?

It was only for Politics Unchained. Not sure if it still applies to whatever that place is called nowadays.

Im not surprised by your scepticisme (its shared by me) and in a lot of cases you'd be right, just not in this one.

I see my spellchecker spellchecked it to the Dutch word which includes a trailing e. The English word can both be written with a k or a c, apparently my spellchecker disagrees about writing it with a c though because I spelled it correctly before it was corrected .

If you wanna play with the US big boys you just need to switch to sexist jokes to fit in.

I deliberately posted in ATF to avoid paying the bounty, so I think I'm on reasonable ground here. But I take the broader point and should remove my toe from that vortex.

Some of the modding decisions seem borderline lunatic to me, however.

Minnesota woman charged with fatally shooting boyfriend in failed YouTube video stunt

Quote:
As part of a young couple's quest for YouTube fame, a 19-year-old woman shot at a book her boyfriend was holding against his chest, killing him at close range outside their northwestern Minnesota home.

...Ruiz held up the book — described by County Attorney James Brue as a hardcover encyclopedia — and Perez pulled the trigger on a .50-caliber Desert Eagle pistol, trying to see whether the bullet would go through, according to the criminal complaint.
