For me it sounds totally good. But I also like my coffee sometimes with few drops of lemon juice instead of milk.

It was at an open bar Christmas party when I was 21ish so yes.

If I go to Revival I'm drinking cocktails, not ****ed up coffee drinks. Priorities.

That drink does sound terrible. Drink that at the end of the night=throw up for sure.
06-11-2017 , 10:18 PM
Reminds me that when I was in elementary school I would frequently pour grape juice into my carton of milk. Wouldn't try that now.

But the thing is, that it is not milk but cream. The art is to mix it the way, that the creamymilky part won't get sour when in contact with orange juice.

Here is another one that you have to hate, if you hate ElD's drink :

I don't necessarily agree that El D's drink would be bad, I just think it sounds bad. Limoncello is yummy

Inertia?

In any case, glad I posted as this has cemented the change in my thinking. Thanks, OOT!
When I've hesitated to put the placard up (for a second), I've literally gotten confronted about parking in the handicap spot *while* assembling the wife's wheelchair. "Can't use that without the permit!" regardless of need according to self-appointed hall monitor. Found this pretty upsetting.

I have also gotten similarly confronted even with the placard displayed. I look pretty able-bodied, so must be scamming the system, you see? Cannot put those feelings into words. I know I should be able to laugh, but I just couldn't.

Edit: Also, sometimes all the handicap spaces are taken and then everyone leaves while you're in the store. What you really need is the space to completely open your door and wheel the chair right up to it. Displaying the placard might keep a thoughtful person from parking close.

You are not supposed to drive with the placard up, it says so on the placard iirc. I've been given one twice.

Go.

Ok, it arrived today and I sprayed some on. It definitely meets the criteria I laid out - pleasant and inoffensive. I'm not sure I love it, though. I think I would have liked a little more citrus.

I can tell you that I absolutely hate the bottle - it doesn't have a flat bottom that it stands on. Instead, it's like a weird disk that I have to lay flat on my bathroom counter. It seems like it should have come with some sort of stand (which also would have been ridiculous).

I'll see if I generate any comments tomorrow at work. (I won't - it's dead between semesters.)

Yeah, I know what you mean about the bottle, though it's never really bothered me to just lay it on its back. Hopefully the scent will grow on you a bit more and you'll get some mileage out of the purchase.

I just wanted to update how this thing ended. I mean OOT played a big role in it.
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...&postcount=267

Short facts: We have an agreement without court involvement. I got a chunk of money and written statement, where the clinic admits the mistake. Clinic has a statement from me that I am satisfied and have no further claims against them.

And now a lot of emotions:
I am so grateful to the Universe, my lawyer and LFS, DZ and Hey_Porter for how this thing ended. I have my Zen back in this. I feel good and calm and satisfied as opposed to how I felt when I started writing about it here. I was just stomping my feet in desperation and frustration and was seriously contemplating to go back to the clinic and make an ugly scene there. It would have been for sure an entertaining TR for OOT, but not so good for my feelings of helplessness and being violated. So again: LFS, DZ, Hey_Porter, I hugely appreciate that you all gave me pointers into the right direction and diverted me from punching the doc in the face. If we ever end-up in the same city on this planet, drinks are on me.

You predicted absolutely correctly how the clinic will act. They tried to give me guilt trip at the beginning, and after my lawyer formally requested them not to contact me any more, they tried the line " Yeah... the medical standard is anesthetics in the procedure, but the patient had intolerance". What was completely indisputable, is that they had then to inform me about this and they didn't. About this intolerance or not it would be an expert fight, if it would go to court. I am also completely sure that they didn't make any tests for my intolerance to anything. But that all doesn't matter.....

I mean in front of a court it would be " who has a more convincing expert" like my lawyer said and I am completely happy with agreement like it is now. It might be childish, but for me is more important, that they regret how they treated me, than the money I got.

My lawyer was great. I don't know if it is because I offered her more than it is custom as contingency or because she is generally so. But for me she was worth every cent she got. I mean ..... I wanted a written admission from them of a mistake. It is childish and makes no rational sense, but I needed it for my Zen. And she got it for me, although as far as I understood, it was more difficult to get than to get money. She shielded me from a huge bunch of crap. I would never got the result on my own.

Ufffff. I am just glad it all went this way.

Maybe a tiny cliff about why you were so enraged? I remember the posts but the cause is escaping me at this point. Anyway, good for you and great to hear that you've made it to a place/agreement that makes you happy , congrats.
06-13-2017 , 02:02 PM
Can we get a cliffs because lolwoman none of those links explain squadoosh.
06-13-2017 , 02:06 PM
cliffs of the original problem: It was an IVF procedure. And the clinic did egg-cell pick-up without anesthetics.
After me complaining, it was promised to be pain free the second time. Instead it become worse the second time.

What was most enraging, is that they never acknowledged, that it is painful, never acknowledged that they did anything wrong. I mean ..... modern medicine is not almighty, but what it can do with 100% certainty is to keep a patient for 10 min, that the procedure took, pain free.

I seriously appreciate big time this posts you made then. I mean you could have just laughed, or trolled me. I do get that my original posts about this are gold for trolling. Instead you gave me a really helpful hints.

The law offices of OOT strike again. We should all drink an Arizona Iced Tea in our own honor.

Time for you and me to make a buddy cop picture imo. I'll be the uptight one who goes by the book.

Movies in that genre will never be made again after the Ultimate was released, The Other Guys.

Who could've guessed that LKJ is cool with laying down instead of standing?
