Can't say I was aware of Maher's anti-vaxxer stuff, though that story does check out on Google. That's disappointing. I tend to like what he brings to the conversation overall (which is not to say that I agree with him on everything), even though as a comedian he's aggressively unfunny.

When it comes to this thing from last night, I think there's a world of difference between this incident, and, say, the incident that forever torched Michael Richards's career.

I know somebody who worked as a PA on a show that Bill Maher was on and she says she was tasked with bringing a steady supply of fresh towels to him because he's a compulsive masturbator.
