Apparently. My daughter and I were heading out to surf and stopped into the Starbucks at trancas canyon. There was a single person in front of me: Jonathan banks. It wasn't totally clear from the way he was standing that he was in line. So I quipped "Gjven your reputation, you are one dude I definitely don't want to cut in front of. Are you in line?" He said he was, and we had a brief but pleasant conversation about people assigning television reputations to real-life actors. I apologized for pestering him and we went about our business.

The baristas both knew him. I suspect he is a regular there.

Mike ehrmentraut plays a fixer in breaking bad, and he is one intimidating mother****er in that show. The actor IRL, Jonathan banks, seems like a good neighborly dude.

Jonathan Banks was great on the largely forgotten late 80s show Wiseguy. He wasn't nearly as scary looking bad then, looked a lot like Woody Allen in fact.

Wiseguy was awesome...I had a huge crush on Joan Severance

She and Kevin Spacey were sister and brother...awkward.

My face recognition is poor and I have embarrassed myself many times on this front. But for some reason, synapses closed and neurons fired correctly and I was sure it was him. Encounters like this happen fairly regularly in Malibu and are not all that surprising.

And +1 to Joan Severance.

I was going through the SE Thread draft a weeks back because my life is sad and thought the same thing after coming across some garcia posts. But he's alive and made a Conrad video game, even posted about it here on a different garcia username due to the great hacking of 2012(?)
