Manresa sounds like a latino gay bar.

It's pretty good! Although that was before they added smoke to everything.

She's such a sweetheart, said it was overrated.

Spoiler:
She said the same thing about Michael Mina

Why is that in spoilers?

[x] had root canal treatment
[x] wasnt that bad tbh

Everyone is always whining about how terrible they are but I didn't feel a thing so whaddap people of the female persuasion.

I've had the same experience yak. Went in expecting the worst. Felt nothing during or after other than extreme relief from the pain that sent me to the dentist in the first place.

Edit: the terrible part for me was parting with sooo many of my hard earned American Dollars

- Spoilers in this case were to contain a punchline
- Worst thing that happened during my root canal is the dam shifted and I had a bunch of spit do down my windpipe while the guy was working...thought he'd send a drill straight into my brain or something. My jaw hurt more from being wedged open than anything having to do with the drilling

Root canal is a much easier experience than a garden-variety cavity filling. Quite a bit longer procedure is all.
07-27-2017 , 11:10 AM
I dont use novacaine when getting cavity filled.

The needle in the gums + numbness is more annoying than the discomfort during the procedure.

My first and my most recent root canals were a piece of cake.

The worst was when I suddenly flinched and made a primal scream so loud that the endodontist jumped and complained that I had scared him. It got to be so bad that I considered getting up and leaving in the middle of it.

That was the last time I saw him, and I'm not sure which one of us is happier about that decision.

I think the root cause of the issue is the name itself.
07-27-2017 , 12:55 PM
I think I posted my cavity horror story somewhere. Much worse than a root canal. Novocaine also doesnt work on me.
07-27-2017 , 01:00 PM
They use Lidocaine now.
07-27-2017 , 01:06 PM
They will use more than that (not sure what) if you tell them that you are immune to all that routine stuff no matter how much they give you. At least my current endodontist does. I hope his practice outlives me.

Which seat do you pick if your only goals are (in order):
A. Window seat
B. Not having to sit by anyone

12F seems like a great seat as, more likely than not, no one is going to pay for preferred seating in a middle seat. 18A and 18F have no armrest so don't want those. Is 12F just FPS, or should I pick one of the empty rows?
07-27-2017 , 01:31 PM
dont understand why 12f isnt obvious given what youve said

fps is picking an empty middle seat with the intention that no one will choose a seat beside you so you have the whole row for yourself AND save a buck!
07-27-2017 , 01:32 PM
Does 12F has a wall in front of it? Do not want.
07-27-2017 , 01:33 PM
walls dont recline
07-27-2017 , 01:35 PM
But your tray is the the armrest so if the middle is open you can't spread out by lifting the arm rest. Also, no room for stuff under the seat in front.

grando,

Once there are no windows or aisles left, middles fill up from front to back. So 12F is unlikely to have an empty middle.

This was what I was looking for

Mostly depends upon the direction of the flight imo unless you are almost certain there will be more than a few empty seats. I always try to pick a window seat on the "shady" side.
