That kurosh pic makes me laugh every time I see it.

Kurosh trying to angle Diablo into a bet over whether he should drink Coke in the middle of the desert remains a favorite thread.

Nostalgia thread would be incredible.

It would be well-aided by an undeletion of the Kevin B thread.

Because that's how they talk.

doubt anything will ever beat thatismychild.jpg as far as GOAT 2p2 memories go

TJ Cookier maybe could give it a run:

Maybe poker players as videogame characters.

For pre-2014 stuff the SE Thread Draft is pretty thorough. Not sure how many truly iconic threads have occurred since then, tbabs and maybe MLYLT come immediately to mind

chopstick, I've got A BILF is leaving her job up there in that same vein. Somebody needs to back and edit the BILF picture in though, it's a broken link atm

I really loved the treadmill airplane discussion, but it's missing so many pictures that it doesn't carry the same entertainment value anymore.

Other great threads (at least in my memory):
What is this pastry? (It's a long john)
Is a tennis ball green or yellow?

In poker threads:
The Mason AQ vs. JJ thread
Andyfox had a good story about having pocket 2s against two sets, and then turning or rivering a flush
Some 2+2 magazine article written by a dude I can't recall about getting someone with AA or AK to fold against a bluff?

In the annals of threads where people get owned by El D nothing can top the BAC thread imo.
07-07-2017 , 03:13 PM
Oh man, forgot about the haake or beetz high five thread and the Vegas trip report with a lotion fight.

I am intentionally not going back and reading these because I don't want to be disappointed when they fail to live up to the nostalgia.

The major old school thread that really doesn't live up to expectations is home casino, that thread blows now
07-07-2017 , 03:20 PM
So many threads ruined by imageshack, tinypic and other photos disappearing.

I thought about this not too long ago, but didn't remember it was andyfox.

The premise was that he was certain based on opponent knowledge that he was up against AA and KK specifically when the flop was AKX-single suited and he had 22 with the 2 of trump. When the 4th suited card hit the river, he tabled his hand and said, "Send it, dealer..." or something, while toking.

I can't easily track this one down to see how much I've screwed up the details in my mind.

My Butterface Thread OP image was INSANE and I was never able to find it again

I could still get into my old photobucket account, so hopefully alobar can see this while he's in the pokey:

spider,

I believe you're referring to Barron Vangor Toth.

Alas, that dude is dead now.

Pretty much the limit version of the Mason AQ v JJ thread.
07-07-2017 , 06:49 PM
Just ran across this looking for an old picture

07-07-2017 , 07:17 PM
Wow, i posted a lot in that AQ vs JJ thread. Also pretty full of myself at that point.
07-07-2017 , 07:30 PM
I read the first 20 posts or so of AQ v JJ

Cliffs on what develops that makes it noteworthy?
07-07-2017 , 07:35 PM
Nothing really develops aside from a lot of MSNL and HSNL regulars who ended up being happy that Mason admitted to being wrong.
07-07-2017 , 11:21 PM
I had entirely forgotten about Barron Vangor Toth. One of the best names ever, and a solid poster too. RIP, sir.

He was also just a genuinely nice guy.
