AI,

These pictures of that dude just walking around like nbd are crazy.

Did y'all see the interview with one of the rally organizers? He said this should be a wake up call for police brutality. 4 dead now. And one of the shooters was walking in the rally with a rifle on his shoulder.

I wonder if the NRA will issue a statement defending his right to carry that weapon around

Before or after the shooting? Seems perfectly fine if prior to the shooting. I mean that's what the protest was for.

action shots

07-08-2016 , 12:22 AM
**** people are stupid no one yet has said one of the shooters was walking in the rally
07-08-2016 , 12:23 AM
I saw a witness on the news seemingly describing that guy as not being where the shots came from.

MLYLT,

Police are saying snipers were from elevated position in parking garage(s?). So not so sure about this guy, depending on when exactly that video was taken.

just start a thread already somebody
07-08-2016 , 12:27 AM
Yeah, pretty clear it wasn't that dude. Seems his brother said he's not a suspect and he met with cops.
07-08-2016 , 12:28 AM
But the camo!
07-08-2016 , 01:18 AM
All,

That dude is so lucky no officer or armed good samaritan saw him after that police press conference and shot him in the head.
07-08-2016 , 07:00 AM
Anyone walking around with a rifle slung over their shoulder is putting themselves at elevated risk of being shot by police imo. Especially if they're black.

Isn't this completely standard in Texas?

Yeah but it's only OK if you're white
07-08-2016 , 12:47 PM
Well that was intense.

Drinking with a friend of mine. Ex British squaddie, was in Iraq at 16 years old.

He is arguing about brexit with a female friend of mine. They are both getting slightly heated but all seems in good nature.

Suddenly. Squaddie shouts something about suicide bombers. Stands up. Punches me in the face and storms off.

Fortunately I'm a hodor, so I just shrug it off, but still. Not the way I wanted to spend my Friday night.

Turns out PTSD is no fun for anyone.

Seems like both of them are terrible company to have around.

I know no one ever watches links to outside news channels but this one's worth it. His brother is a really good speaker.

Quite the Abysmal showing in the LC, now stop.

He speaks so well hahaha
07-08-2016 , 02:34 PM
Lol you watched max 3 minutes of a 9 minute video in which the guy you're talking about didn't speak for the first 40 secs. Not saying he's super eloquent or anything but if you actually watch it he covers pretty much every point about the situation extremely well considering he just got released from custody.

I just heard that palliative radiotherapy is actually a thing. Seems counter intuitive to me.

The points covered and the manner in which they were covered is not what 27 is LOLing at.

Neither of these guys speak very well. They make generally good points for the most part, and they absolutely have done the right thing. And it strikes me as being totally typical that they go to the police and the police are basically dicks to them.

It's also a sad fact of the modern world that the media published a picture of this guy as potentially being a suspect -- including a statement by the Dallas police that he was in fact a suspect -- before anyone had any idea whether he had anything to do with the shooting or not; and now the guy is subject to death threats.

Interesting interview. I hate almost all news interviews, just because they're totally useless. But this one isn't.
