HTML 5 and CSS 3 are only so useful. Learning them would help you design mockups and such but not be enough to build full functioning Web pages.
I already know PHP/MySQL backend stuff and have used quite some of the older HTML languages and a bit of CSS. I just want to be able to make a pretty straightforward but still good looking website again while using somewhat up to date technology. What would you recommend ?
