Re: itt, you learn to cook proper eggs...

I would do some good chorizo instead of the bacon and Cholula hot sauce instead of salsa.

This should lead to OOT Chopped with eggs, corn tortillas, bag-o'-bacon, and jarred salsa in the basket.

Also, WTF I go to Costco all the time and have never seen that bagged bacon!

I'm sorry but bacon bits suck. It does not taste like normal bacon, those bags aren't even kept refrigerated. If someone is going to put in the effort to cook eggs they might as well cook real bacon as well.

Re: itt, you learn to cook proper eggs...

1) If you're going to do a thread on cooking eggs, don't add all the other crap.

2) If you're going to do a thread on cooking eggs, learn how to properly cook eggs.

Add a splash of water (not milk, ya durn fool). This is THE trick for fluffy scrambled eggs.

Scramble the eggs before they are in the pan (with the water). It makes for a more uniform consistency. I like to add a pinch of salt and some cracked black pepper.

Cook your eggs with butter, at a medium heat.

Remove your eggs from the pan just before they look done (runny). Yeah, you heard me. The eggs will continue to cook a little on the plate, so that when they arrive at the table they will be perfect.

Bacon goes great with eggs, but it belongs in another thread.

School's out. Go cook some eggs.
