Sounds like quite the operation.
This sub digression put me in mind of this local sub chain (which I can't believe is still a going concern). They had tater tots as a side, but insisted on calling them potato nuggets. I remain convinced the entire reason for this was so that I could nearly kill my sister one day by ordering "a footlong #2 with extra nuggets."

I was really dubious about this, especially after looking at the Indiana law (I live here) and seeing that it clearly falls under the criminal code here...but I looked at the applicable Colorado theft law (I think that's where lbr is) and it doesn't seem to cover anything that doesn't involve permanent intent to deprive. Stealing a service from a machine wouldn't qualify, as far as I can tell.

I'm also wondering if a decent prosecutor could twist it into a fraud case as well.
In Georgia's code we have this:
Quote:

Remove "by deception" and I can arrest LBR for this act in Georgia.
I guess I could make an argument he deceived the machine, but I don't know how well that would fly.

Tomatoes are bland bags of water, why would you want to eat them in an concentration less than ketchup or sauce?

Sounds like you need to change up your tomato game. Good tomatoes are ****ing delicious eaten sliced; I like hitting them with some salt and pepper, but if they're sufficiently good that's not necessary. Cherry or grape tomatoes are great to munch on. EDIT: But yeah, there's a reason tomatoes are like the poster child of large-scale commercial farming sometimes producing crappy tasting results. The difference between a good tomato and a run of the mill one is pretty immense.

a study was just published in science that claims a gene was bred into commercial tomatoes years ago to make them uniformly red when they ripen but also negatively affects the taste.

Just grow your own tomatoes, then your dog can eat them before you get a chance.
