This just is not the case. Yes the Android OS is better in some ways if you are a techy (which is a small portion of the population) but for the vast majority of people the iphone OS is far superior in every way. With the new iphone OS it is really close to android now for even the techy.

LOL I am so not an apple fanboy but I guess I will play one for a minute!

It depends how you 'measure'.

If you want max customization then the iphone OS loses by a wide margin. If you want ease of use and integration with apps then the iphone OS wins by a wide margin.

For 95% of the population who want to plug in their phone, have it load everything, and never have to think about it again android is not even close to apple.

Now if you add jailbreaking, I would say the iphone is close to android even for people who want customization.
