I've just checked and the beta version is available now, do hopefully it's released soon!
My iPhone 4 currently has no audio during phone calls, I can hear people talk but they can't hear me. The mic works fine though for the voice recorder, facetime and skype/viber calls. So strange. I've been told that hopefully the new ios update will fix it
Has anyone else had this problem?

Lol restore it, if that doesn't work it's hardware.

Re: iPhone Thread Volume 3 - 4th Gen Announced
tried restoring it obviously, and that didn't work. I presumed it was hardware but I keep seeing threads like this coming up:

So thought I'd wait to see if the new ios update fixed it as I'm out of warrenty and I bought it in the UK but live in Thailand

Re: iPhone Thread Volume 3 - 4th Gen Announced
Not sure if anyone else had this problem but when I upgrade to iOS 5 my phone decided it wanted to be on speakerphone every time I answered. If this happened to anyone else this is how to fix it:
Settings > General > Accessibility > Incoming Calls (under Physical & Motor).

Yep, I have this too. Unfortunately the only solution is a hardware replacement, but mine is out of warranty so I had to work up something else. A temporary fix is just to hit the back of the phone on the palm of your hand really hard when you need to talk and it should be good for at least the duration of that call. Just keep doing this when you need to. I know it sounds stupid, but it works for me.

Re: iPhone Thread Volume 3 - 4th Gen Announced
Hey guys I just got a 4S. It's my first smart phone actually. I need some recommendations on a case for it. I'm looking for moderate protection, not something big and bulky, and it needs to be able to slide in and out of my pocket easily, not the rubbery material that has a lot of friction with clothing. Any help would be appreciated!

Absolutely not. There are many, many cases where the bumper scratched the chrome on the side.
Now some people really don't care about that so it's an individual decision I guess.

the speck case linked by someone about a month ago has been great for me
kind of rubbery but a harder rubber and it doesn't get caught on the inside of my pockets etc really ever

no case needed imo unless you are a donk, detracts too much from aesthetics (the whole point of apple/iphone) my iphone4 is over 14 moths and still looks in very good condition.

Ahh that sucks. Mine won't temporarily fix no matter how much I hit the back though.

Android users over in the Android thread got their LTE Galaxy Nexus. I'm jealous.
