I came across this question/exercise reading a book on life improvement and time management, but the big fact is that im suffering a long term depression (hoping to get better and in the right track), and i just could not figure out an exact or accurate answer to this question myself. I know the not-worrying part about the money would be a big plus in anyone's life but in contrast rich people are not generally happier than the poor, so there's so kind of fallacy there i guess. Would very much appreciate personal advice. I consider myself very open to criticism.
in an Tony Robbins exercise, you had unlimited time as well as money.
(call them dreams)
then you prioritize and set goals..
(goals are dreams with definite time limits) etc.

I am shortly looking at retiring and want to fill my spare time with..
Learning a language.
Learning a musical instrument.
Spending more time with family and friends.
Staying healthy/exercising.
Traveling more.
Helping other young companies in their early years with $ and advice.
Doing more charity work.

The first two are goals, the rest have no time limit.

I would travel obviously. Go to a new country every time I got bored. Then I'd do stuff in academia, get a few doctorates, be a professor. Have big Great Gatsby style parties and huge dinner parties with famous and important people. Hire a top notch personal trainer and personal chef, get in amazing shape. A lot of what I do now.

Probably a more expensive version of what I do now tbh

I'm watching some nature show in HD with the dog. You could upgrade the TV the house, the recliner, but pretty sure I'd still be watching some nature show in HD with the dog while the wife is sleeping

I would travel as much as possible, which is basically what I do now, but it would be with much more style (and women). I'd also be that guy who sits down and 10-20 nl and plays like a maniac just trying to bust people. And then when I lost my 5k or whatever I wouldn't care at all. I've always wanted to be that guy.

Would buy a killer boat/yacht

Boat all over the place

Always be where its summer

Maybe build an awesome golf course

Might buy some pubs or night clubs just as a bit of an experiment to see what kind of money that can spin up

It would prolly be pretty close to what I was doing when I was broke and had no job. Basically spending my days studying and training and then hanging with friends when they are off work. I'd definitely need to put some time into something tho as to much free time can be a huge problem.
