A Glasgow kiss. Edit- Also Glasgow isn't as bad as its reputation if you stay out of the housing schemes. It's a great city with friendly people!

truth=hater

A friend posted a picture before an interview and asked "How am I looking?" The consensus was he looked great ldo. When I pointed out the large jacket, baggy pants and squared shoes I was labeled a hater by some of his friends and no one liked my post =(

From a ~30 year-old woman:

"I had a great time hanging with my _________ friends. It's been way too long. They sure do know how to make a girl feel good. I had so many compliments tonight. I was told I was gorgeous & got _________ you look fu@king great, seriously fu@king great! I forgot how nice it is to be complimented & told I'm beautiful. I feel like a million bucks. I have amazing friends. They're such good people."

The threshold for narcissism has to be completely different for a woman vs. a man.

From a man:

It seems that I have been building a reputation in two different towns that I was unaware of. Have found out that where I live I have the nickname Captain Hottie Pants and where I work people say I'm hot and look like I'm from a movie. Need to make sure I don't drink the water from either of these towns so I don't catch what thay have.

I just came back home from working away for a bit. Will post this and observe the reaction. I do however only have 32 friends after I got fed up and blocked everyone.

From the same woman as in post #17360:

"My morning started with a phone call from _______ at 10 after 7. Yes that is early but honestly, I love when he calls me first thing in the morning when we are not together. It always makes me smile. It is little things like that, that mean so much. I really do love that man."

this girl uploaded 15~ pictures of her back to the camera in an album entitled "on a journey". call my facebook narcissism meter overly sensitive but this type of stuff strikes me as beyond self-absorbed. i just imagine her ordering some poor friend around to take these "artsy" pictures. to make matters worse, the photos suck.

looking in a garden? who gives a ****

as if she knows how to appreciate art

the most efficient way to view a painting no doubt

My 62 year old mother joined facebook this past weekend. One of her childhood friends posted a meme that had the word "sh*t" on it on the friend's own wall, and my mom commented (again, on the friend's own wall) and asked her to remove it because it had a curse word.

hahaha, so awesome. My aunt is in her late 60s and has also decided to see what all the fuss is about and opened accounts on both Facebook and Twitter. I seriously can't wait for her to bring the lols when she starts posting.

She'll never grow up as long as she stays with friends like that.

I got the usual "This year <insert month here> has five Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This happens once every 823 years" garbage on my feed today. The month being referenced? July. So in addition to the usual incorrectness of those posts, this post is referring to a month that doesn't even have five of any of those days.

My Mom still hasn't figured out the difference in stuff on your feed, your wall, and personal messages.

She asked me why my niece kept sending her pictures of cats (niece posted pictures on her own page, which then ended up in my Mom's feed).

A friend posted something on my Wall with the f-word in it, and my Mom commented on it as if I were the author.
