Littering was one of my pet peeves as a kid and I would shout at my dad and get upset with him if he did it while driving. He stopped doing it apart from apple cores which he said would compost lol. Smoking was my other pet peeve but no amount of complaining was going to stop my parents doing that.

I have lots of friends that are married, lots of friends that are in committed relationships, maybe even friends that are in relationships where fornication happens.

Never really understood why the Rhythm Method and similar stuff is OK but condoms are not. I know it's cause condoms are "unnatural" or whatever but doesn't God get angry if you try to avert pregnancy by whatever means? Isn't that the lesson of Onan? Maybe those are two separate things, God gets angry about so much sexual stuff that it's hard to keep up.

Like using a thermometer to check if its OK to **** is hardly "natural". Seems like splitting hairs.

I couldn't agree more. They love talking about how tough there job is so I love asking them if they are working tomorrow the day before one of their ~120 consecutive days off. Don't get me started about their damn pensions.

Wife is 1st year faculty at the local U and has just started her first PTO summer causing pretty extreme jealousy on my part. But she also gets like 3 weeks every winter, a week for Thxgiving & spring break, and a dozen or more arbitrary long weekends and B list holidays. It's a sweet deal.
