Did anyone listen to the entire ScarJo interview? I tried the first 10 minutes, but she wasn't very interesting.

well I listened to another 15-20 minutes of SJ, and that might have been the dullest interview I have heard on Stern.

lol i had an inclination that it might be bad when howard started off by saying she had a very sexy voice. i said, "you're bull****ting howard, i'm not gonna listen to some boring interview just to hear a sexy girl's voice" and as soon as i finished masturbating i was out of there

i think the show's better than ever. they've tightened it up so there's more quality in every hour than there used to be, and they don't repeat bits the way they used to, so it plays more like a 4-hour podcast than a traditional drive-time radio show.

I don't think the show is better at all. It was much better in Artie's day for me. Way too much forcing of bits particularly with JD, Ronnie, Lenny Dykstra, Bobo or Steve from Florida. Have to force Mehmet in too because he seemingly lives an interesting life. Everything seems and sounds more forced and watered down to me...but it's unfair to expect a 70 year old to be doing his best work at 70.

The show is still entertaining but definitely not better than ever. A bit too cleaned up for my taste. When was the last time Ralph was in studio? When was the last time a woman was topless? Too many funny former guests no longer welcome on the show.

artie saying "that's the hottest chick we've ever had up here" was enough already.

mike walker and the gossip game was enough already.

the howard 100 news? steve langford moved on so it's enough already.

howardTV? doug goodstein looted on 9/11, enough with him already.

An ad nauseam discussion of vocal fry is not exactly cutting edge radio.

lol yeah they rehashed a lot of bits this week. i thought it was funny that sal didn't want to discuss that time he got arrested for gangbanging a drunk chick in high school.

I cant beleive anyone would think the show is better than ever. Its pretty awrful actually. Soooo many pre recorded impersanation calls/bits that are painfully unfunny, tons of memmet who is just the all time worst, brutal boring ass kissing interviews(scarlet johansen) could go on and on.

The show is not my favorite right now. It's still Howard tho and I'll probably always enjoy his product. The show has changed so much over the years but I remember the lead up to and then switch to Sirius being a pretty quality and fun time.

What I heard of the Scarlett Johansen interview was boring, every other word out of her mouth was umm or uhh. I enjoyed the Craig Ferguson interview they were replaying today tho, first I'd heard it.

I think the interviews are far and away the worst part of the show. Save for a handful of comedians, they are almost always worth skipping. I really don't get the whole "Howard is the most brilliant interviewer of all time" shtick that they they keep pushing.

I actually like the newer show, but whoever said its watered down is absolutely right. especially from before

It's still entertaining / worth it but It's in no way what it once was imo. It's getting a bit dated I suppose as well - He's definitely not talking about what's actually hip / in but he never really has I suppose. If his targeted age group is 35-60 He's doing amazing I guess.

Robin can seriously be insufferable. Had to be said. Again.

Certain interview shtick from Howard that I find very annoying. With musical guests, he plays clips of that artist's hit songs and always asks whether they remember a particular song, usually the biggest of that particular artist's career. Of course they remember. It was amusing the first time he did it but he now does it with every musical guest. Tilts me to no end.

Actors- he always asks whether they fall in love with co-stars on the set. This is a huge tell. I have no doubt that he probably fell in love with Mary McCormack on the set of his movie and that probably at least contributed to his divorce. He asks that question of pretty much every actor and always gives a five minute speech on the issue after he asks the question.

Haha, nice. Do we know much of anything about their relationship on the set or off? Only thing I remember is an interview with her where she said she caught a glimpse of his penis during the underwear dancing scene.

What's the deal with Sirius streaming? I've been listening on player.siriusxm.com and it's been working fine since early this morning with no login or subscription or anything. I was expecting to pay $17 a month or get a free trial or w/e.

Sirius streaming on the web just straight up works for free, they give you a trial for a few days it seems and finally ask you to login. But all you have to do is open a new incognito window to start again.

He was talking about it this morning (first segment) because of the woman from Supergirl and her co-star dumping their significant others for each other. He first joked that he fell in love with Robin on the Private Parts set, then "joked" that he fell in love with lots of women on the set.

Howard definitely fell in love with Mary McCormick.

i'm really getting tired of the "new" guys on the show. I know most of them aren't necessarily new, but it seems like every time I check in, he's got Shuli (the worst) or Brent (close) or that dude with the stupid name who always talks about getting chicks... in the studio. Why am I drawing a blank on this dude's name? something with an M? it's gonna come to me the second i hit "post reply."
