About four months ago, I moved to a new city for a job. I really don't know that many people, which is fine, but there is one thing that really bugs me: I don't know how/where to buy drugs. I know, it's a tragic situation.

I started smoking in college and my next door neighbor was the hook up. I guess I just don't know how to go about locating a new source in a place where I don't know anyone.

Any suggestions? One friend said that I should find the second shadiest bar in town and just start asking around. Sounds risky to me......

um get a part time job at the closest restaurant and wait for someone to ask you if you smoke imo

Or as istewart and Traffic taught us, you could just drive around in the ghetto and ask black people.

Poker is your best bet. Go play a bit and look out for younger players - they will likely be tokers. Strike up convo the first time you are there and come back second night. On second night, ask them about weed, they will be able to help you.

If no legal poker in your neck of the woods, look for a house game using one of the many services out there (quick google search will give you some sites that aggregate this data).

There is a pretty serious ghetto in Philly, but I don't know if I'm up for venturing there on my own. I am not excited about driving into neighborhoods were people are getting shot all the time.

it's pretty easy, actually...go to a bar (or anywhere, really), drink a beer, and casually check people out...when you see someone that looks like they smoke, find an opportunity to go over and say hello...talk about how you're new to town, blahblah, and bring up smoking weed...

don't necessarily say, 'hey, know anywhere i can find some weed?'...just bring up you're a smoker.

i've never had any problem finding weed away from home. maybe i'm running good, maybe i don't look like a cop, i dunno, but all it's ever taken was the above, and after a person or two, someone will talk about their friend that has 'some fire' (which, on a side note, usually turns out to be dirt, but beggars/choosers, etc), and that's it...

my girl and i are going to the beach in 2 weeks, and we're driving (12+ hours), because she wants to bring weed, and doesn't want to smuggle it in a sock on a plane...i've tried to tell her not to worry, that i'd get some down there, and she doesn't believe me.

so we now have a prop bet in which i can get at least a $20 sack within 24 hours of us getting there...winner gets a BJ..
