No need, the nozzle never touches ass. Ok so the handle is getting passed from person to person but you're washing your hands anyway.

Trust me - it's a leap of faith first time you do it, but it's one of the things I miss the most about Thailand. You're expecting to feel somewhat violated, but instead it's like a gentle sphincter massage and after 10-15 seconds you can guarantee that you'll only need toilet roll to dry your hoop.

I looked into getting one installed in my place here in the UK but it would have to be a DIY job and I just haven't gotten round to it.

Re: How do blind people know when to stop wiping?

this butt hose is intriguing, but i would have two main concerns:

1) while power washing the **** off your sphincter how do you prevent the poo particles from landing on other clean areas like your underwear or thigh or lower back?

2) how do you prevent the water from splashing all over yourself? I dont think i would have good aim behind my back and shooting blind.

Re: How do blind people know when to stop wiping?

Valid concerns - and to be honest I had them too which coupled with the thought of it being violating is what put me off using the butt hose for a good few months after I moved there.

Fear not though, it's weird and I think it's to do with the shape of your ass, two cheeks etc but the technique is pretty much this: Stand up a little bit, so that you are hovering over the pan. Position the nozzle under your butt from behind(lean in in the same way you would using toilet roll, only stop before you get to crevice) and hold it around two inches from your butthole. Spray away. As long as you focus the jet onto your butthole the water just drips straight into the pan without issue. I've never had any sprayback issues in all my times using it.

Is there any chance you can make an MSPaint? I'd have an easier time visualizing it.

Genuinely surprised all the Preparation H shills didn't come flooding in to knock the TP checkers. I was legit itchy before my own conversion.

Would photographic instruction suffice? I still have plenty of friends who live in Thailand.

Re: How do blind people know when to stop wiping?

Had an experience while travelling through Asia that would fit right in here. I had used the sprayers and new that the toilet situations sometimes weren't ideal, but was always able to access the sprayer or toilet paper until I took a trip to a really remote area.

Imagine a camping trip with small cabins and an outside toilet. I walk (thankfully not that far) and get ready to drop the kids off at the pool, when I notice that the squatting toilet does not have a sprayer or paper, but simply one of those buckets next to a container of "clean" water. P panic, wtf am I meant to be doing a handstand and pouring the water or do I actually need to be wiping my **** with my own hands? My final decision was to take off my shirt and wipe with that and throw it away, lol.

This is why you never touch peoples left hands in Asia.
