higherkicker - you have to use the door-handle to LEAVE the restroom also.
Do they have sinks to wash your hands outside the restroom too?

How is this so freaking hard to understand?

i'm not kidding btw. and i realize you can put that **** in your crack and try to run water over your bunghole, but how does that not create a huge mess??? i want to hear from someone who has done this, or knows indian people who do.

I`ve had to grunch the rest of the thread as its late so possibly someone from the travel forum already told you they tip the water down their arse and rub the **** off with their left hand. (which is why Indians - infact a ton of nationalities who do this - find it offensive to be offered something from your left hand)

As it happens i had taps fitted in my bathrooms at ankle level so i can use the same method. I imagine most wont read what i put next about the French.

Where are the French at anyway? I thought they`d be all over this thread. Not only do they **** in a hole in the ground, they put the used TP in a basket next to the dunnie ffs. And dont even wash their hands (probably).

while ive tried through a bit of northern france and have never had this experience, i did notice this in southeast asia, which i guess has a strong french influence. i always thought it was disgusting. dont flush the paper, stick it in the bin? YUCK! and i never really mastered the ****ting in the hole thing, i was always paralyzed with fear that id **** on my pants. somehow i escaped without doing that (mostly because i would hold it in for an unreasonable amount of time waiting for a proper toilet), but it was pretty scary. also stepping in a bunch of piss each time you went to the bathroom was kind of a bummer as well.

Re: How do blind people know when to stop wiping?

The silly French put their used paper in a basket because they didnt build their plumbing systems big enough to take turds and paper. So the paper lodges in the u-bend and blocks the toilets LoL. Silly French.

Something i forget recently and blocked the toilet of a rather plush bar off the Champs Elysees. It was a real toilet not just a hole

The pan filled right to the brim with pissy water and there were my turds floating proudly on the top.

Garcon! l`addition s`il vous plait.

Go to toilet > wash hands after > Leave (yes you have to open 1 more door but if you are afraid of touching that you're really a hygiene freak lol)

I see the TP basked thing here in Brazil all the time too. I think it has something to do with the sewer system. I still think it is ridiculous.

Now that I think about it, we have had some problems with flooded toilets. And I think this may be because we have a lot of foreigners in the office (along with myself) who will surely flush the TP down with the ****.

Re: How do blind people know when to stop wiping?

Speaking of third world, in the Philippines it's common to see a jug or a dipper right beside the toilet which is filled up and used as a manual bidet system with some soap. You rinse yourself until all the poo particles and soap particles are washed away. No need for tp!

Fwiw, I just get the tp slight damp, lean forward and slightly on the right cheek (I'm left handed) come in from behind and wipe front to back. Repeat until clean.

Re: How do blind people know when to stop wiping?

i have a foolproof way of wiping so i guess i will share it. to start, you must realize sitting is superior and very important. the main reasons are that if you stand, your buttcheaks will move toegether and all the poo (and sometimes dingleburies) will get spread all over ur clenching cheeks. secondly, when u stand and ur cheeks go together your anus rescinds and there is less surface area presented.

it should be clear that standing will hide some poo and put other poo in contact with skin that was prior poo-less.

so we are sitting and ready to wipe. we need to formulate a plan of attack. with the left, lift the balls out of the way, and reach in to wipe with the right. make sure the wiping hand is not too deep or it will hit poowater and not too close to the body or it will hit poo/dingle. when the wiping hand has reached it destination just beyond the hole wipe from the back to the front. and drop.

of course this wouldnt be complete without describing the paper use. our options are folding or bunching. again, folding is better bc a flat surface will be able to make the most contact. bunching will miss spots where the paper is creased or spread.

so, the first wipes should have many sheets bunched to avoid poo contact with teh figngers. i like to start with 4 2ply sheets, then 3, the 2 a few times and 1 a few times. after wiping with 1 square 2-3 times i look. if there is somethign there, i go back to work with some vigor. if not i wipe a couple more times just to be sure.

Right after Victor confirms whether we`re going in from the front or from behind with the right?

Also, the ass shower rocks.

Everyone:

After you think it's clean, spit on the TP and wipe again. There's usually some more

Re: How do blind people know when to stop wiping?

physically, im not sure how its possible to wipe front to back. u simply cant get the proper contact and force.

further, i think u guys are misunderstanding the back to front wipe. u stop as soon as you reach the end of the affected area. i mean, u never should reach ur grundle. just stop sooner.

Speaking of wiping, I think it's good to know which way your girl wipes: back to the crack or **** to the *lit... it's always good to know what you're eating.

Re: How do blind people know when to stop wiping?

I found nearly everyones methods weird. I guess this comes from the fact that since you never see anyone else wiping you just develop your own way but yet think everyone else must do it that way.

I am sort of a sitter and a stander. I sit and take my dump normally, then when finished I kinda squat with my ass about a foot above the rim of the seat and wipe. I am not standing really, but my ass is free from contact of the toilet. This is clearly correct and normal.

Reading this thread has been a revelation, I didn't realise that everyone didn't do this. Standing fully up is weird, its harder to maneuvre in there and spread your cheeks enough to ensure a thorough wipe. Its just ****ing awkward. I also had no idea people were so damn lazy they didn't even get their ass off the seat to wipe also however. I mean that just creates a lot of awkwardness getting in and around the buttcrack, with your junk in the way and your hand and arm are going to near and too far into the bowl for my liking.

I wipe front to back, the other way is weird.
I reach around, between the legs is weird.
I look, not looking, Jesus I had never previously thought that there are people out there who didn't look. "You just know". Erm stay away from me.
