Probably not, but who knows? I don't think that having a bachelors degree in the sciences requires that you have a strong foundation of intellectual rigor. Alternatively there're a lot of people who don't have backgrounds in the sciences who're more than capable of holding their own in this kind of a conversation.

I'm not going to pretend i don't have an opinion. I just think it would be more interesting/entertaining to let them to take part in a structured debate than having people ridicule them.

I like where you're coming from, but a debate doesn't work if 1 party ignores facts, reasoning and logic and dismisses everything as fake or untrue no matter how compelling.

If they questioned gravity, then it leads to the question of why they think it's fake and naming people who support their position. The interviewer doesn't have to spend hours trying to to deconstruct every position they're taking.

In what may be this thread's epitaph, I'll list bigots' statements of "fact" and even number them for easy reference if he comes back and cares to dispute any of them.

1) The earth is flat. It is surrounded by a big-ass ice wall that the illuminati won't let bigot- or even Kyrie Irving!- take a non CGI pic of.

2) It is covered by a concrete-esque dome at an unknown altitude, yet somehow allows us to see stars, constellations, planets, the moon and the sun.

3) The sun is a "couple thousand" (presumably) miles away from the plane of the earth. (I am unclear if this means the sun is inside or outside of the dome.)

4) The age of the earth depends on the methodology employed to measure it.

5) Gravity and relatively are fictions. Bigot maintains his FE model can account for the observations explained by these phenomenon, but he is want to find a youtube that can do so. He has NO model.

6) There was no moon landing; there is no ISS; there are no satellites.

7) Nuclear technology, to the extent it can provide atomic power or nuclear weapons, does not exist.

8) He won't share his opinion on the Holocaust; but, he does believe the Bolsheviks, comprised of "almost entirely Jews", were responsible for a genocide greater than Hitler's.
