No, the Jewish population of Europe dropped from about 9.5 million to about 3.5 million.

More Christians were killed in Russia than Jews in Germany. Just the facts.
Soviet Communist atheists weren't exactly Christians. And there weren't all that many Jews in Germany to begin with, so the Nazis had to find them elsewhere. Austria. Czechoslovakia. Poland. France. Belgium. The Netherlands. Ukraine. Estonia. Latvia. Lithuania. Russia. Romania. Bulgaria. Hungary. Yugoslavia. Greece. Italy. Places like that. In Poland, there were about 3,000,000 Jews before the Nazi invasion, and about 45,000 after the war. The death camps, to which Jews from all over Europe were sent, were mostly in German-occupied Poland.
