- Do you still think she is the coolest girl you have met?

- Any communication with her since you got back?

- Is she happy living in Finland? Any thoughts of relocating at some point?

- It seems crazy she would let you stay at her flat where she lives alone if she wasn't potentially interested. Do you think maybe the only reason it didn't happen was because you both got so drunk (possibly to overcome your nerves)?

- Do you really think she was blowing you off after you got frisky on the dancefloor, or could it just be that she wasn't comfortable with anything happening in public/in front of her friends and that didn't reflect her true feelings?

Great read OP... I think you did fine on the trip.

I agree that if you were trying to pursue something romantic then you probably should've done things a little differently... mainly not giving her a hand shake to start and not going out drinking every night. A nice dinner or something of the sort might've given you two a better chance to bond.

That said, she shot you down when you were out and about so after that maybe the vibe was off. None of us were there so who knows how the mood really felt. Worst case scenario - you made a pretty cool friend and are a 2p2 legend.

- She's just moved back to Finland from 6-months studying in The Netherlands, and is doing her masters, and then wants to do a PhD. Definitely doesn't want to stay in Finland once finished though. Australia is her top choice however

- We weren't nervous at all around each other, and for a lot of the time it was just us drinking in her apartment whilst getting drunk. I've been with enough girls to know that she didn't really want to advance (but there were opportunities for her to do so if she wanted.)

- I'm pretty sure she was. At that point her friends who had come out with us had all gone home anyway I think, so it was just us (and any random people she knew) in the bar.

- I wouldn't say there are any major mistakes... i'm sure you guys can point out a few from your own perspectives, but i went as me, as a friend to Riikka, and that's how it stayed. I wouldn't call that a failure, but meh

- Bring a hat! But no... a lot of people are acting like there was a certain possibility that 'something' should have happened between us. She had probably already made up in her mind that nothing was gonna happen, so there isn't really much i could've changed to win her over even if i DID have another shot! But saying that, i'm sure i'll meet her again, so maybe i will have another "shot" haha

- Probably the only thing is us getting so drunk each night, as it meant we slept for most of the day and didn't have time to do other things we had planned!

- I've been single for 7 months. Was previously in a relationship for 3 years. (with a GIRL!! ) And have just been enjoying single life since then I was casually seeing a couple of girls just before Christmas - one of which seemed a bit jealous that i was going over to Finland, but now seems to be totally unfazed by it all now that i've got back Oh and there's this guy i'm seeing too....

Sasha Grey= hot, assertive ex(afaik) porn star...who has done legit hollywood style acting and is actually a pretty smart person.
I don't think of it as a non-compliment. I was more trying to make a gesture towards the awkwardness of the situation.
