Do we still do OOT movie threads? If not, lock it up.
I love WWII movies and I feel like I haven't seen a good one in a while and this one looks like it has the potential to be very good. I loved the movie End of Watch and the director of that movie is directing this. And I had an obsession with tanks when I was kid, so what's not to love? Brad Pitt is fine as an actor so I'm sure he'll be decent. Only thing is, it also stars that Shia Labouf guy or however you spell his last name who I hate, hopefully he just has a small role, but whatever. Thoughts? Not expecting it to be as good as Saving Private Ryan or something but I think I definitely will see it!
not sure how i feel about BP in this role. this is easily my favorite movie genre, you can never go wrong killin' nazi's, but i think these work better with unknown leading characters and by the end of the movie, they are family.

BP...with that haircut...doesn't say war to me.
Lt. Aldo Raine would have something to say about that.
Just realized this is released tomorrow. It's getting pretty good reviews atm. It's at 75 % positive over on rotten tomatoes. Anyone planning on seeing it this weekend? I'm pretty pumped!

Agreed. Love this genre, but as great as all these actors are, it's just the wrong feel. Just seems cheesy and off.
