I am sure I am not the only person here that liked the first season of the show. Well, it's a new season, and the first episode just finished.

It's only been one episode so far, so I can't really judge how this one stacks against the first season, but it seems like the contestants have less distinct personalities this go around. For example, last season you knew from the first episode that Pradeep was a douchebag, the 45-year old virgin guy was a huge weirdo, Spoon was a big crybaby, etc. It seems to me like there is less variation this go-around.

Any thoughts on the show from the people that did see it tonight?

They all need to work on their swagger. They just look so funny showing off their new looks.

Are most of the contestants actors, just like last year?

This one was an interesting ep, wtf at the guy with the gold(copper) chain.

Spoiler: I was surprised that they kicked off the Chain guy on the first night.

In the first season, Kosmo literally stood around and talked to nobody the whole time, and went on to win the whole thing. I think it is super lame that they'd kick off somebody before they even get a chance to prove themselves.

Also, where is JDOG? He was by far the coolest of the three PUA's on the show, mostly because he looked and acted like a relatively normal person.

yeah, tho he did have the sick advantage of having an accent. But it is kind of annoying watching some guy like matador work his "game", for **** sake, the guy is like adonis, he doesnt even need game. Same with mystery, hes obviously waaaay less good looking, but hes still tall as **** with long hair, just his appearance is enough to attract attention so all that "im going to work with out crutches" is BS. I think he actually had to do that otherwise to many people would recognize him....tho since everyone is prolly a plant anyway, it likely doesnt matter

Being from Arizona, I'll be interested to see how the contestants handle Scottsdale women, who seem to have a unique attitude about them.

I agree it was a bit lame kicking off a guy after doing basically nothing, it looks as though Mystery is going to be looked upon more trump-like where he does whatever he wants, whenever he wants.

Was impressed the show popped for dental surgery for the one guy. Even thought they change thier look, most of them still look very uncomfortable in their new clothes.

Agreed, but there's something special about the ladies of Scottsdale Road. Maybe the botox gets superheated during the day and messes with thier brains.

I'm also wondering which clubs they filmed at. The outside looked a bit like the old club on scottsdale road that closed down a few years ago (name escapes me).

lol @ this show. I wish there was a show that would teach nerds to be more normal.

It pissed me off so much when Mystery made the guy throw the chain away. He wears all that gay ****, stupid hat, goggles, etc. The chain though not real is still a decent conversation starter. The dude was obviously a tard with ladies but they had given them zero advice so far. WTF?

All the guys seemed nice and if they are actors they are doing a pretty decent job. I have a feeling the show is very heavily edited especially at the bar.

I really wish they would put a compilation together of all the times Mystery's **** fails. I know they will never do that because the whole show is basically a huge infomercial for his pua crap.

somewhat related, I went to school with a kid who went on an won beauty and the geek. He was kind of a doofus, but he had been doing lots of standup comedy, had lots of friends, dated some girl who was a model, and played up how much of a geek he was a TON for the show. funny stuff.

not really surprising, seems like basically every single reality show is either a bunch of wanna be actors trying to break into the industry or scamers trying to make easy money

Yeah, pretty lame the fat guy got tossed for having no game out of the gate, lol.

So the 28yo virgin is an actor? Pretty damn good one.

I could totally believe Asian fro guy would be an actor. Am I really supposed to believe he's never kissed a girl?

PUA is one big ****ing joke and lie. You don't need to wear ****ing props to act as conversation starters. **** bugs the hell out of me.

The women you want to bang, and hang out with dig normal, laid back cool guys, not fake, masked, nervous puppets.

none of the guys looked outrageous after they bought new stuff, you have no idea what PUA even is.

The show is semi-interesting, but it's pretty lame overall. I don't really like the idea of a woman being the wing...I'm sure it's helpful but the premise is more interesting when it's guys trying to help other guys.

That being said...the osama terrorist guy looked the coolist and he's my early front runner. Actors or not, this season is definitely full of some socially awkward nerds

Ya, its not that surprising but the only other reality thing I watch is real world when it seems interesting. Overall Id say all the reality stuff is just a bunch of boring time slot fillers.
