what are some good ways to mess with people's computers just to **** with them?

so far i got changing autocorrect in word so when they type their name it will change it to penis and so on, or you can do little things like change small to smalll and they might not realize what is happening and just think they are tying really bad.

Chaning icons on the desktop so it looks like they are clicking one thing but something else opens

blocking thier favorite websites in the parental controls with a password

setting the home page to a porn site or something

invert the mouse buttons or change the mouse sensitivity to make it hard to move the mouse around the screen, either really fast or slow.

God it pisses me off when people mess with my computer. This is why I have it locked all the time.

setting the desktop background to gayporn takes about 30 seconds, this one is good for students because they open the laptop up in the lecture theater the people sitting behind them will see it

You can mess with the HOSTS file so that whenever they try to go to google for example, it takes them to whatever random website you choose. Most people won't have any clue what the hell hit them.

I feel like I heard about this one here, but basically, you take a screen shot of the person's desktop/wallpaper whatever, and then set that as their wallpaper, and then hide/lock the taskbar, hide the icons, and they go nuts trying to figure out whats wrong with their computer, because none of the icons will work/task bar won't work because its all just a screen shot.

I remember back when i was about 13 there used to be a game called whackamole that you would send people as a Zip file. When they loaded it, a trojan installed on their computer and you could basically control their whole computer.

It was hilarious doing it while chatting on ICQ (lol those were the days) and disabling vowels, disabling the space bar etc. My personal favourite was sending them a message "want a drink coaster?" and then opening their CD drive. They had no idea what was going on...

Change the display settings so the monitor displays sideways, upside down, or backwards/left to right.

or as an alternative: create a new folder on their desktop and name it something embarrassing(ie. horse porn). take a screenshot of the desktop and set it as the background. then delete the folder and a picture of it will be sitting in its place. if they are at all computer literate they will figure it out pretty quick though.

Download desktop sheep to the computer, and then use the Windows Scheduler to have the program run every 10 minutes. Within a couple hours he'll have a dozen sheep crawling all over his desktop and he won't know why.

So yeah, this is why you want your computer to password protect every time the screensaver kicks in.

On a Mac in System Preferences under "Universal Access" there are settings that make your computer speak every action you take. You can also reverse the screen's contrast. Most people don't know how to fix it and it's annoying as hell.

PSA: Pressing Window + L prompts puts up the password screen without exiting any programs.
