Study abroad in Spain, France or Portugal Study abroad in Spain, France or Portugal

Hello folks,

I have studied economics for a bit more than 3 years now. I have been to Holland for half a year and studied. But now I want to study/work more abroad. I want to go to Spain, France or Portugal to study economics or work. I can search a spot through my university here in Sweden or apply directly to the university in Spain, France or Portugal. But how is it with fees? Here in Sweden the education is completely free, so an exchange would allow me to study free in whatever country I can get in to.

Is it hard getting in on schools like Barcelona Business School, Madrid Business school and Valencia International Business School?

Is the education in english or spanish?

I appreciate some help from those who are familiar with this.

Greetings, Dante

Yeah, but would be neat with input from someone who has studied there.

Found this site: http://www.spainexchange.com/study_s...s_in_spain.php

And there seems to be tuition fees on almost all schools, so the best way must be to apply from my university here in Sweden.

I so badly wanna go to Spain.

I've been to Madrid and had a great time, but haven't been to the other places on your list. Dunno, spanish girls are hot, go there.

What programme/courses did you take? Was the studying harder compared to Philly?

Yeah, spanish girls are my favourite.

I didn't study there, I went to Europe after college and stayed in Madrid for almost a week. Was very fun and IMO Spanish is a pretty easy language to learn/get by with. Also, the city is very cool and fun with lots of great/old buildings and bars/clubs. Subway system is very nice, easy to get anywhere you want. Only problem is the weather. Very hot in the summer - 90-100 degrees every day, although dry.

business schools worth it in France: HEC , ESSEC, ESCP, EM Lyon
University worth it : Paris Dauphine (for finance), Toulouse school of economics (for research in economics).

That is if you are in a good program yourself. hope it helps.

Yeah, that is all reasons why I want to go to Spain or some other Mediterranean country. I live in Sweden so I want a bit warmer

I don't know, and that is part of my problem. I am currently, basically, between two universities, hence I am not really studying a programme on either and therefore it could be hard getting erasmus. And I don't even know if it is possible to study a master program through erasmus...

Thank you!

What I noticed about the tuition fees is that the universities are pretty expensive. Hows the french tuition fees?

Are you still an undergrad or are you looking at MSc programs? I'm also Swedish and currently studying in Barcelona and think it's great so far (I'm only 1 month in). But the correct play if you're from Sweden and have done an exchange in Holland is to go to the U.S. or Asia.

If I had to choose it would be an English language course in Spain. Portugal sucks compared to Spain and France and even though France is gorgeous, the people are dicks. So Spain is the easy choice.
