I somehow don't see that thread on the front page of OOT, but yes that sounds like a good idea.
02-01-2017 , 04:54 PM
She literally can't post anywhere.

02-01-2017 , 04:55 PM
I sent her a PM changing it to the Fat Off thread, and titled it appropriately and bumped it.
02-01-2017 , 05:08 PM
I saw that, but not until after I read the roommate thread and I was amused.

So did you say it was yesterday you were having your crazy bipolar episode?

ETA: My mistake for addressing her here. Feel free to respond in your containment thread though!

Closing a containment thread confirmed above the rim modding.

****. Bought a king-sized jar of queso at Walmart. It made a new hole in the cheap bag as I was taking it out of the trunk. Now there's like a half-gallon of queso and broken glass all over my driveway.

Party at pig4bill's driveway!

You can strain the glass out.

Those jokes are pretty cheesy guys

Here's the scary part - after just picking up a little of the broken glass and cutting myself (obviously) I just went inside and worked a little (I work from home). Half hour later I decide to go out and clean it up.

Not a single critter or bird or bug was feasting on it. It's 73 today. Lots of bugs out. I have a new beehive in my utility room. I've seen cottontails and road runners in my driveway before. Makes me wonder about the edibility of something that bugs and animals won't touch.

For future reference, after congealing for a bit, it scoops up pretty easily using a few bits of junk mail.

My bf thinks Valentines Day is a commercial load of crap which I tend to agree with. My only concession to it is I generally make sure I cook a nice meal with dessert(which we don't usually have) and bring in some flowers from the garden. Oh yes and I do expect sex.

My bd is the 15th which isn't enough time between the two to be guaranteed two BJs, fml. We usually don't do anything for Valentines, just pop a bottle of fizzy drinks and eat red meat. Maybe give each other a tiny gift. Its usually a pretty good day for me though.

Let's get fizzy cow.
02-01-2017 , 09:07 PM
Avocado is really expensive here atm and I am finding it doubly annoying as my brother is getting free avocado from his BIL.
02-01-2017 , 09:09 PM
So your husband is giving your brother free avocado and you get nothing?

Villian1,

Laughed at your post, I now see why you are OOTs fave sweetheart.

I had to take my cat to the hospital today. He had a seizure. His heart rate is low, and they're not sure if the underlying cause is his brain or his heart.

I'm really not in a great place ATM.

RJ,
I'm sorry to hear that, I hope he comes good and you are ok. Pets can be such a big part of our life it's hard to cope when they get ill.
02-01-2017 , 09:59 PM
RJ,

Best of luck to CatRJ.

You need to work on your refractory period. Do you even lift, bro?

Best thoughts for you and your cat RJ.

Have had a dog with seizures but never a cat, the dog lived with them for a long time.
02-01-2017 , 11:33 PM
I'm not 100% sure it was a seizure, but there was thrashing (and biting/clawing, I have some pretty deep gouges on my legs) and he wasn't moving correctly. The vet said there's definitely neurological symptoms, something is off with his sense of balance so he couldn't tell where he was in space.

At any rate I'm a bit numb at the moment, probably because you can only break down and cry so often before hitting a bit of a wall. And I have to take some comfort in the fact that, while the episode was terrifying and clearly there's something not right with him, he survived the incident and was stable and in no apparent distress when I left. Hopefully whatever it is can be figured out relatively quickly, and is fixable.

Anyway, thanks for the kind words.
