Didn't see a thread about this, so I thought I would start one. Regarding your favorite day of the week.
My favorite day - Friday, easy. I get to wear jeans at work and also it is the beginning of the weekend, which is a great time for relaxing and having fun. Friday is also "date night," a good time to go out on the town or just to curl up at home with a bottle of wine and a movie. Of course, this isn't really germane to my current circumstance since I am working Saturdays early and the wife and I are on the outs, but in the spirit of the question I would still have to go Friday. My friend Carl says his favorite day is Wednesday which he calls "hump" day, a reference to its configuration in the middle of the work week, i.e. getting over the "hump" to the weekend. This makes no sense to me at all. If the weekend is what it is all about, why wouldn't Friday be your favorite day? It's the beginning of the weekend! Or alternatively Saturday, which has the benefit of not being a workday, but you can still stay up late if you want on account of Sunday. But everybody is different, which is why this question is so interesting. And of course there are a variety of other options (although I can't imagine anyone will pick Monday - yuck).
So Twoplustwo what is your favorite day of the week?
Saturday - ~75% of peak level fun days have happened on saturday
Friday - no work for the forseeable future
Sunday - would be below thursday but for the NFL
Thursday - almost no work for the forseeable future, can go out if paired with friday afternoon nap
Wednesday - good day to get stuff done
Monday - MNF, lots o podcasts
Tuesday
I feel like in the spirit of the question, if your weekend is shifted from the standard, your answer should be shifted accordingly. For example, SGT RJ if your weekend is Wed/Thurs + favorite=Thurs, your answer would be Sunday.
My favorite day is Friday because it has the most emotional upswing going into the weekend.
I would say Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are all perfectly valid answers. Thursday might be as well. All other answers indicate a probable psychopath.
