Not really liking the the CISCO atty's so far. I tried the 306 1.5ohm and the 510 1.5ohm and they were ok but nothing special and not any better than the other 510 atty's I was using. Yesterday I started using another 510 and this one just sucks. I probably won't be paying extra for these anymore.

This applies to me as well. I use the njoy when I'm playing poker but the refills are kind of expensive ($21 ish dollars US for 5) and they don't last long at all as already mentioned itt. I was disappointed to discover that they're the same price if you order online as they are at convenience stores. Just need something with enough battery life to get me through a 3-4 hour donkament.

I ordered a mini lavatube from greenhouse one a few weeks ago and all of the sudden they sent me a new tracking number last friday. After someone finally responded to my email after 3 days, they told me it got sent back by Chinese customs and they had to re mail it. Is this common?

are all these things made in china? I hope they don't use lead paint.

I hope at least the juices we buy are made in the USA

My lavatube mini finally came in the mail the other day and I'm loving it. Glad I finally pulled the trigger on a VV device.

In other news, don't waste your time with serenity from RAWR. It's truth serum with raspberry, which sounds awesome, but it's terrible. The "lime not da coconut" is tolerable, but still disappointing.

Thought Serenity was ok but still prefer Truth Serum. Lime and da coconut was vile unless you like the taste of undiluted lime cordial.

A smoker I know was told he couldn't use this in a bowling alley. Reason being if people saw him using it they may mistake it for a real cigarette and complain. WTF? Banning these in places where smoking is not allowed is going to destroy their sales.

I didn't like Serenity much either. The Peach Serum is very good though

ive always bought the Riva 510 650mAh Battery since i started with ecigs, but due to them not lasting as long ive just got the Riva 510 SE XXL 1100mAh Battery.

is there a different charger for this? i currently just use the same charger but the light seems to go green way too early on the 1100mAh, i've been pulling it out, putting it back in and its back to red.

also i've recently gone to the stardust clearomizer and been totally converted. however how do u clean these things? my current strat looks like, use it for a month, throw it out

I don't see a different charger for the 1100 mAh Riva. How long does it stay red when you plug it back in?

For the Stardust / Ego Clearomizer, I haven't kept up with the latest revisions, but you might try this thread:

Taking Apart The Vision Stardust...Made Super Easy!

Personally, if I got a month of good flavor out of them I would just toss them, but I'm just trending that way with vaping stuff. I'm OK with the parts being disposable.

Tufat, charger should be the same.

Do yourself a favor the next time you need a battery, and just spring for a lavatube. You won't look back.

So I just made the shift to e-cigs after it took me a while to source some juice that contained nicotine. I'm using the Joyetech ego-c, smoking the Copper Creek House Blend as well as some passionfruit flavour they threw in with my order.

Interesting transition. It seems to be harsher on my throat, but I don't feel it hit my lungs at all. The sick part is I miss that feeling! I bummed a couple of smokes off my housemate yesterday because I still find them more satisfying. That said, I'm pretty confident these will help me make the transition.

One question I have, has anyone had any success using these to ween themselves off nicotine? My concern is that I'll end up more addicted, as I can smoke them indoors and just keep puffing away all day... What I want is an exit strategy though!

if it's only like your first few days, don't worry - actual cigarettes are certainly "more satisfying", ecig vapour is missing a ton of more chemicals that make up cigarette smoke. also make sure your juice is strong enough.

I'm sure many have managed to wean themselves off nicotine by gradually reducing the nic content of their juice. don't remember the names but pretty sure there was even some posting in the old thread. I don't worry about it though, I like nicotine and there are few ill effects. but if you do it, just make sure you're well off the analogs before doing so. it would suck to start out with reduced nicotine in an ecig and always end up going back to cigarretes just because they aren't strong enough.

Yeah, first thing is to transition fully to e-cigs. If I can do that then I'll re-address the question of whether I want to get off nicotine.

I'm smoking 18mg juice at the moment, got the impression that was pretty standard. I used to smoke 8mg cigarettes, sometimes 12mg.

Absolutely. I started vaping about 1.5 years ago and was vaping 24mg/ml juice basically nonstop every waking hour. Over that time I've gradually dropped the nic content so that I'm now vaping ~5mg/ml juice. Still vaping nonstop, but my daily nic intake is about 1/5 what it was when I started.

Don't be scared of becoming "more addicted". It just won't happen. If I were you, I'd increase the nic content of your juice until it gives you the satisfying throat hit you're looking for, and not even worry about lowering it until you're solidly off the cigarettes. After that, it's entirely painless to slowly drop your intake. I'm at the point now that if e-cigs suddenly became unavailable, I'd just quit rather than go back to smoking, and I expect it would be rather easy. I've been toying with the idea of switching to no-nic recently anyway.

The funny thing is that I DIY my own juice for my gf and I. I've never told her that I've been cutting back on the nic content in our juice, and she's never noticed, or at least she's never mentioned it if she has.

Michaelson,

try a different pg/vg ratio. the standard on copper creeks stuff is 40pg/60vg. on my last order I tried 60pg/40vg and noticed a lot more throat hit, the 40/60 didn't really have any throat hit. But I like the vapor cloud more then the throat hit. next time I'll try 50/50.

house blend is still the best, the regular coffee flavor also rocks.

I have a bunch of bottles I thought I'd like when I saw them on the web site, but I was wrong. coffee and RY4 are my favorites

I got a couple bottles of Geoff's Blend from Tasty Vapor in stuff I bought off the classifieds. The flavor is described as a mix of Juicy Fruit and Big Red gum. I probably never would have ordered it based on that, but I am really liking it. I'd gotten to the point where I almost couldn't taste VV Kona. Taste buds needed a change and this juice is a wake up call lol.

so a few weeks ago my lavatube fell out of my pocket while disc-golfing, and i panicked and snap bought a new stainless steel mini to replace it. went back the next day to look for it, and ended up finding it - and still works fine. was fine though as having a mini w/ a regular should be a good setup.

now i just got my order in from apollo and apparently i misclicked and bought another regular instead. **** is shiny. not the worst problem to have two, but i'd rather have one of each i think.

anyone in a reverse situation? want to trade me a mini-tube (only need the device, have extra charger/batteries already) in exchange for black plastic lavatube+battery+charger? i'm in NJ if local or could just mail it.

I recently tried flavored juices for the first time and now have no desire for most tobacco flavors. I got a large bottle of RY4 because it is so popular - I was only moderately impressed at first but it has grown on me and is now a favorite for all day vaping.

I got a smaller bottle of coffee flavor and it is almost gone, i'm saving the last of it to have with my morning brew. It has a very clean coffee taste - very tasty.

I like a strong sweet flavor after meals. coconut ahoy (chocolate and coconut) is great for dessert. it is a stong flavor so i dilute it up to 50% when i want to use it as an all day vape.

I can hardly wait to try some more flavors

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the Copper Creek Home Blend at all. Much prefer the passionfruit sampler they chucked in.

That said, I don't really want to become a connoisseur with this stuff, just substitute for ciggies. Once I find something suitable I'll settle. Will check out coffee and chai flavours next, though I suspect with this the flavours I'd usually gravitate towards would be completely different than with food and beverages. Never would have thought to buy passionfruit, for instance.

Appreciate the responses above btw, will try the different pg/vg ratio next time I buy.

You should be able to refill you cartos many times, just pop off the cap at the mouth end and drip the nicotine juice down the sides until it looks mushy. you might have to wait awhile to let it soak in. It is easy to find videos online showing you how.

you will save a ton of money by refilling your cartos. you will soon find some flavors you like other than menthol. I have ordered from two different sites and each one had great flavored ejuice. delivery was only a few bucks and i got my orders in a four days or less.

after seeing your post i went to the copper creek site. They had some interesting flavors and is the first site i have seen that offers different pg/vg ratios as a matter of course. However, their prices are a lot higher than i paid at ecigaretteexpress and smokelessimage. MtBakerVapor has good prices too but i haven't tried them yet.

I've been on ecigs for about 2 weeks now. Was coming to post in this thread and saw that 2p2 was on lock down.

Any who, I use a silver bullet. Its not vv but can be if I buy a device called a "kick". Google it, you may be able to make your non-vv device a vv one.

I've been using fluxomizers from gotvapes latety. Not 100% sold on them but they are convenient. $12 for 5 and I filled 3 of them with defferent flavors and rotate them out. They are cleanable as well.

As for juice, I've only used juice from madvapes. Really like cherry coke (even though it didn't take like cherry coke) and tutti fruity which tasted like bubble tape gum. Just ordered some boba's bounty, apple, and watermelon from alien visions. Will report back after testing them.

Am seriously considering going back to dripping tho. I have a tank system, which is cool aside from having to dremel slits into the cartos for thick vg juices. And clearos are OK but inconsistent with performance.

Just my thoughts. Advice: read the ecf alot. And watch you tube vids from pbusardo and grimmgreen.
