10cm (plus 1cm thread). There is a mini version too which takes 18350 batts.

Here's a (horribly out of focus) pic next to an 18650 battery for scale:

thats pretty sweet, is it vv? My mini vtube is 9.5 CM (3.75"). so your getting like double the battery life, out of something just about the same size.

I just discovered this great thread. After chasing some fascinating links i spent over an hour just getting through the first 2 pages. I started vaping a few months ago and i now smoke very few analogs. My "kit" consiists of 2 mini size batteries, several cartridges and a charger that fits the usb port on a computer. I found a local source for Re-vamp brand juice and found some videos on refill methods. i was very happy about the way this has worked out and had evern started recommending it to my friends.

I started with an impulse buy at a liquor store. The equipment has no brand or model markings and the only source information on the packaging was "Rennegade". I was not able to find info on this brand online. On a recent visit to the liquor store i was told that they no longer carry the products as the guy supplying them had died and no one took over the franchise. For all i know this is just a brand name slapped onto a cheap package.

I plan to get another kit after i have done some more study of safety and economy issues, but in the meantime. Can anyone tell me about the safety and quality of the Rennegade brand products? Is there a website for the manufacturer or distributor?

I am really struggling to understand all the ins and outs though. The OP to this thread is a great starting point, but still a bit overwhelming, so please excuse some newbie questions.

How much does smoking e-cigs cost in comparison to the real thing? It will depend on the juice I'm sure, but is it cost effective in general? (I paid $18 for a pack of 20 yesterday, so it has to be better than that)

Will buying a particular starter kit restrict options dramatically down the track (like choosing between Nikon and Cannon when buying a camera)? Trying to work out if I'm best off just jumping into the market then working everything out, or if I should try to get my head around everything first.

I would want something discreet, are there downsides to smaller batteries other than the obvious smaller capacity?

Along the same lines, I also have no interest in an LED light that makes it resemble an actual cigarette. Silly as it is, the aesthetics will be important if this is to work for me, as I'll feel self-conscious with anything that draws attention to itself. Any suggestions for discreet/nicely designed e-cigs out there?

Finally, does an e-cig accompany coffee as well as an actual cigarette?

Thanks in advance for any responses
i have only been vaping a few months so i may not be the best one to consult. The LED light on mine flashes when the battery needs recharging and you might not otherwise be able to distinguish by performance when you need to a juice refill (which is a lot cheaper than just getting replacement cartrides) or to charge the battery. If you guess wrong you might overfill the cartridge, which you want to avoid.

I've finally realized a year long dream...I can vape THC e-liquid! Months of experimentation went into this product, and now I've got it. Anyone that wants it must go to the "deep web."

Nah it's not vv, aside from using one of those green 5v nimh batteries. Or stacking 2 batts for 6-7v, but there's no protection circuit so that's not advisable in this.

I'm happy at 4v with LR vision egos though.

Hey guys,

I'm back! (I'm the OP, kinda haha).

Anyways, The Lavatube is *AWESOME* for vaping at home but it just isn't very practical when going out.

I was wondering if anyone has any good suggestions/reviews for practical mini e-cigs just to go out/grind live poker with, for example that aren't disposable? Something uniform like the joye ego, but maybe slightly smaller even? So I can just use the lavatube at home :P

Anything smaller than an Ego will give you major battery life problems. The cigarette sized Bloog Maxx Fusion was supposedly pretty good a year ago or so but there might be something newer and better by now.

That's the thing, I don't mind too much about battery life problems because it's just something that I can use for mobility purposes only - but the disposable ones suck too much :P

Okay, well a popular E-cig youtube reviewer has recommended the Bloog Maxx fusion just for carrying around, or the Volt Smokeless Image.

Since they both use cartomizers, I was wondering if all cartomizers use the same 'threading'? - Ie. since I'll have to replace cartomizers more, after I buy the Bloog or Volt, can I just get any type of cartomizer from an Aussie ecig store for example? - I'm quite noob @ the cartomizer thing!

Also, just quickly - How often do I need to replace cartomizers?

As far as a year ago the Bloog's were considered one of the best "cigarette sized" E cigs and you can also get a portable charging case where you can have one battery charging while you use the other. I think Smokeless Image sells the same thing that is just rebranded. I've used the Bloog cartomizers and they work well too. Something like this is probably your best bet.

It looks like they use a KR 808 type threading or something similar. They will not work with standard 510 cartomizers. I'm not sure if they work with other 808 threading or if they are slightly different. You can probably find the answer in some of the reviews out there

I'm pretty sure that the bloog and the volt are the same device, just branded differently. They are fully compatible with anything kr808.

just got a bunch of juices from copper, got a big bottle of the house blend, it's amazing.
also got twisted tobacco, buttered rum, cool aid, and some others. Good recommendation, they are delicious. Got some boge style caromizers, and some lr atty's, really enjoy this boge cartomizer.

I get about 3-4 days from one. I replace when the taste gets a bit horrible, I think the flavour on my menthol goes a bit peppery so I change it at that point.

I actually have found filler cartomizer that's working for me. Smoktek 2.0 single coils. They came in our tanks.

I know for sure Delta has a policy against using them on a plane. There's a sub forum with information: Travel and E-Cig I flew from US to Asia and back this March. I packed my batteries separately and carried them on with my lava tube. I took some juice in my liquids bag, carry on and put the majority in my checked bags. I did get questioned at least once by security, but just told them what it was.

Loving the stardusts/vision egos. They are a little bit high mainentance (need rinsing out and dry burning every day or two) but the flavour is excellent.

Getting near to a year since I went digital. 30 years of 20 day, now I'm not even slightly tempted.

Can anybody give some recommendations for a good e-cig available in Canada and a website that sells it? I vaped for 6+ months, but my supplier couldn't ship to Canada anymore and I switched back to rollies.

It may be airline/country dependent, but I packed mine up in my carry on and sent it through the x-ray machine with no problem. When I got my bag out of the other end, I stuck it back in my pocket and took it on the plane.

Your results may vary.

Lavatube w/ 2 batteries.

I use these cartos, the 2.8 ohm ones.

I'm not sure about juice, someone else will have to help you with that.

was on apollo's site, looks like they changed the price on the stainless to +$55 from +$15. so a ss vtube is up to $120 now. wish I would have ordered a ss version sooner, not sure I'll pony up 120 bucks for an extra. but now the button on mine is starting to get stuck, crap
