Don't want to buy if I can't get kit for it anytime soon.
Nevermind, I just spoke to my brother who doesn't use his ego-t anymore, so I'm having that off him. Bonus.

edit: Damn, those Kanger cartos are out of stock now

Just in case someone else has the same question but still doesn't see the difference, the 510 connector on the lavatube models are flush with the top of the tube:

On an Ego or Riva, the 510 connection is elevated, and there's another set of outside threads:

That's why you need an adapter for the Stardust / Elegance / Vision Ego Clearomizer with a lavatube. The male 510 thread is inset in this clearomizer and won't reach the lavatube 510 connection. It was designed to attach it to an Ego or Riva with the raised 510 connection and outside threads:

So, any 510 should fit an ego/riva, but if something is made specifically for the Riva/Ego connection, you might need a 510/Ego adapter to use it on the lavatube:

I've actually pulled out my ego battery again, so I can grab any of three flavors. Congrats on making the switch!

I have a Riva 510 but from looking at the picture (and rereading the description) I don't think they are compatible with it..... description says;

"Suitable for 510 threaded devices with a crown (i.e. eGo and Riva due to the raised atomizer connection)."

I just saw Riva and 510 and ordered.

Guess I need to cancel yeah?

Got these through the door today.

They are massive!! I'm gonna be all self conscious in public
Pretty much exact same length and thickness as the Riva battery (not including the mouthpiece). Not a fan of the mouthpiece, prefer my driptip but it won't fit on these.

Anyway the important part is they vape well but had to let the juice soak/sink for 30mins.

Bargin for the price so far

Re: E-cig Thread 2012: Alternative to Smoking

I got my e-liquids from there today too, so 2 days from ordering. Got a few of the 5ml fruit flavours to try out and see what I like. Bit surprised they can send them just in a jiffy bag with the postman.

I'm trying them out with the e-lites cartos for now, as I haven't been to pick up my brother's ego yet. I think I overfilled on my first try, had a bit of leakage. The strawberry flavour is very mild (although I didn't clean the carto out or anything first), but gave good vapour production.

Re: E-cig Thread 2012: Alternative to Smoking

anyone tried any good new juices lately? i've been vaping RAWR's truth serum for a while now. I always try out another 1 or 2 flavors each time I place an order, and really like Antidote with my last order, which is a lemon/berry combo. Would love to try some new flavors, preferably fruits and the like.

Which Riva did you get? mine is the 1100 mAH and will last me from 7am to about 11pm and I vape pretty heavliy all day.

You wont be disapointed with it, I have an Ego-T as well and the Riva is by far my favorite battery.

Red Hots from colorado e-smokes is high on my list but its REALLY expensive so I ordered the stuff to make my own, we shall see how that goes as I also ordered Mary Jane Flavoring to make some of that as well.

My other goto vapes have been watermelon, Blue berry, and Red Bull from myfreedomsmokes.com

The Blueberry from colorado e-smokes is amazing as well but I cant justify 20 bucks for 15ml

Re: E-cig Thread 2012: Alternative to Smoking

I'd like to find some new juices too. I've gone through most of Backwoods Brew juices and have a roster of about 10 flavors that I can depend on. For anyone interested, he has some new juices that have received a lot of praise. Orchard Frost is one I plan to try out soon. There is also a Berry Bliss for people into fruits. I also like the Malty. It's a good juice to help clean out flavors from an atty. It has this airy feel to it - it's almost unflavored, but has a taste of cotton candy. It's a pretty unique juice.

BTW, the Apollo Vtube warranty only applies to defective items. I dropped mine and the atty doesn't screw in straight. They offered me a 20% discount on another that expires in a few days.

I love Rawrs flavors, but they just will not hit in my cartos the same way Volcanos does. Frustrating

Re: E-cig Thread 2012: Alternative to Smoking

Okay, so I'm a hopeless smoker and I'm thinking of biting the bullet and getting an electronic cigarette. If nothing else, if I could not be giving money to tobacco companies anymore it would make me feel better about myself.

I am really struggling to understand all the ins and outs though. The OP to this thread is a great starting point, but still a bit overwhelming, so please excuse some newbie questions.

How much does smoking e-cigs cost in comparison to the real thing? It will depend on the juice I'm sure, but is it cost effective in general? (I paid $18 for a pack of 20 yesterday, so it has to be better than that)

Will buying a particular starter kit restrict options dramatically down the track (like choosing between Nikon and Cannon when buying a camera)? Trying to work out if I'm best off just jumping into the market then working everything out, or if I should try to get my head around everything first.

I would want something discreet, are there downsides to smaller batteries other than the obvious smaller capacity?

Along the same lines, I also have no interest in an LED light that makes it resemble an actual cigarette. Silly as it is, the aesthetics will be important if this is to work for me, as I'll feel self-conscious with anything that draws attention to itself. Any suggestions for discreet/nicely designed e-cigs out there?

Finally, does an e-cig accompany coffee as well as an actual cigarette?

Thanks in advance for any responses
