It was tough before wax started showing up around here. And it's good wax. Let a friend from cali try some last week while he was in town and said it compared every bit to what he could buy back home. Wax just last me significantly longer than bud and gets me so much higher

Iowa, it's a tough state. They've legalized oil usage for a very small and specific list of ailments, but the only way for those patients to purchase it is to travel across state lines and cross through a state with as strict if not stricter laws than here. Legally they can have it but they have to commit a federal crime to get it. .
And yeah I don't buy by the bag. Everything in bulk.

50 an 8th seems absurd. I've only ever bought flower one time and it was 100 for half ounce.

I'm so into the wax that the idea of smoking some herb isn't very appealing.

Kind of a silly question. Does the more herb you smoke at once make you progressively and incrementally higher, or is there a wall? I've never torn through an 8th at once and wonder if that would be wasteful or valuable. I've got more flower than I know what to do with. Hardly ever use my vaporizer any more.

And damn you guys got it rough. In Nor Cal you can get QPs of Gods gift or OG kush for $400 or less all day. Even vape carts as low as $10, hell Absolute Xtracts for $16.

I live in a small rural area in upstate NY. I pay about 220-280/oz. Went down to DC last week, where it's recreational legal. CraigsList sellers list "donation" amounts. Gets around some law loophole.

It's a progressive city pretending it's not. Or the other way around, I dunno.

Anyways, so the going price is basically $65/8th, $115/4th, $200/half, and basically $385 and ounce. In the ads.

I guess you could say I kept going for more and more. In the last week though I decided being a little more liberal in the amount of wax I use would be a good idea and it's consistently paying tremendous dividends. I don't feel like I'm going for more than I was a week ago. However these are substantial hits of strong concentrate so if it soon will require more it seems like I'm getting close to the ceiling already. Hope that doesn't happen.

I have no issue with his consumption per se, it's just ridiculous to me that he's doing a solid dozen dab rips in a half hour, on top of whatever blunts are being passed around.

At some point I'm "good". I think 4 dab rips would put me there quickly
