You remind me of this guy I knew in college. We used to always get kegs of budlight, one time we took the little cap that comes on the keg and swapped it for a Budweiser cap and told him we got Bud instead of bud light. He Started acting drunk after his second beer and made a huge show all night talking about how crazy bombed he was because bud has more alcohol than budlight.

It was this thread when I posted this. OP is ******ed and the only one to ask this question because it's a dumb question. All sorts of food and drinks have markings on them that anyone who doesn't work for the company shouldn't worry about, because they really don't mean anything that makes a difference to the the consumer. This is like asking why dollar bills have different letters on them.

I urge you to try to guess the color dot on the bottom just by tasting the Red Bull. I'd bet a lot of money that you can't.

i think a more accurate test would be to take 3 cans, 2 with one colour and 1 with another. See if you can guess the odd one out. Repeat 20 times.

Maybe a color system that tells them what date it was produced on so that they can tell what cans to get rid of first. I'm pretty certain you can't taste a difference.

Dear Daniel,

Wow, what a good eye! Those dots are to determine how big your wiiings get.

No but really, they are basically just a way for Red Bull to track the cans.
