My friend's father is sorta a strange character. He has a master's degree in economics but he was living in the room of his daughter. Then working at suger creek. Then he moved to China and started dating 3 chinese women. Bear in mind this guy is like 50+. The chinese women were waiting on him hand and foot and basically this guy as I see it is somehow living off the fat of the land.

Long story short he had a heart attack over there. He had to ask his rich father, my friends grandfather for cash. What would you expect the bill to be? I figured with medical tourism that these thigns would be inexpensive especially since I would expect the care to be less than first rate, (although IU could be wrong.)

He was in the hospital about a week. He had some minor surgery involving a stint or something.

Depends where. I'm working in Shanghai and if you go to an International Clinic the costs can be very expensive. Try an expat forum such as shanghaiexpat.com. Most of your post is pretty irrelevant though.

Should cost somewhere in the neighborhood of 8 goats and 3 chickens but the dollar is really weak right now.
