OP, I don't get why you're "staying away" from Lohan. That's a great pick. So is Britney Spears. I think they're both more likely than Richie from what little I see (mostly reading the Superficial and tabloid headlines at grocery stores). Winehouse is a solid choice though. If the drugs don't get her ink poisoining from all her tattoos will.

Also, isn't Fidel Castro like 105? So if the scoring goes 100 - age then you're actually docked five points if he kicks it, right?

I'm sure there's plenty of online resources for picking good Dead Pool candidates, so you shouldn't have any trouble there. I've heard of some big money ones too. As for your picks, I'm curious about the reason(s) for picking the following:

Sanz (is he a huge degen?)
Moneymaker
Billy Joel

Sanz is a fat SNL guy. Those guys die. More research is needed.
Moneymaker just seems like a boozehound who's headed for bustoville. I could be wrong.
Joel is always on/off the wagon and has had some bigtime weight fluctuations. He also battles depression. He's just unstable. I look at those types as having numerous ways they could die - disease, car crash, OD, suicide.
