I don't think people are necessary mad at Yoplait for pandering, I mean that's what commercials are largely about to begin with.

I think the reason the commercial is tilting is the reminder at how utterly obnoxious, neurotic, and insecure a particular segment of mothers in modern society has gotten. They sort of demand this constant reassurance and patting on the back, insisting on being told how nothing they do can ever be wrong or judged. All this because they are laboring under the delusion every single person around them is chronically judging every aspect of their lives 24/7. The cherry on this sundae is that the few people out there who are actually judging mothers are mostly other neurotic mothers.

There's pandering and then there's pandering.

Also I don't really get the mom at the end mocking cage-free eggs or organic ingredients. I guess they are arguing that moms put up with so much judgemental s**t, that they've earned the right to feed their kids any crap ingredients they damn well please?

The first half of the commercial seems aimed at well-off suburban moms with a martyr complex, who love to pretend they have it tougher than anyone else on the planet... then the last 10 seconds seems aimed at the anti-PC Trump moms.

If there was an advanced alien race out there and the only basis they had to study humanity was commercials they would likely come to the conclusion that upper middle class suburban white women have the hardest lives of anyone on the planet.

Breast feedomg for 8 years is fine. Letting the whole world know about it is not imo. Imagine how embarrassed that kid is gonna be in like 3 years.

I think it's a general problem with the internet/social media that parents put way too much embarrassing stuff out there.

Problem is as cotton said, no one is judging moms except possibly other moms. Hard to think of any group more universally respected and admired.

Look at the actual things mentioned in that commercial... working moms, no one cares. Wearing yoga pants, everyone likes yoga pants on women, including men. Mom who says "too much? How do you think I got the name mom in the first place"... she's not even dressed like a slut, she's beautiful, and apparently married to a rich guy. No ones judging her. Giving a kid allowance to do chores... no one's judging. Drinking wine, no one cares.

Literally the entire commercial is imaginary judgements that don't exist. Upper-middle class moms just love imagining they are being judged for whatever reason. I'm sure most will absolutely love this commercial.

Don't forget teachers, firefighters, policemen, and anyone who is in the military or who has ever been in the military. Heroes all.

Those commercials are really ****ing stupid.

There's the one where the guy is checking out, and the dude informs him that he qualified for a $20 savings. The customer says, "good, I need it." And motions out to his jeep or whatever that is covered in mud. Wtf is the connection there? And then it continues to devolve because the employee is such a tool.

It's not so much his boobs that get me, it's his skinny little arms and fat gut that looks like he stuck a pillow in his shirt.
