He seems ******ed or autistic to me. Its such an unexpected thing to see in the context of a commercial that its easy to be in denial though.

It's not just the kid, but the way that the family reacts to him that makes me believe he's got developmental issues. At the very end of the vending machine commercial, the mother says "John, give him a dollar". Very condescending. His sister also doesn't react as though he's just being a smart ass. She reacts with embarrassment to her coworker as if to say "this is the special needs brother I was telling you about".

Again, I haven't seen these spots lately, and have actually been seeing the old "Owen" spots coming back, so my suspicion is that they were yanked, and I think justifiably so.

I like the Von Miller commercials.

FYP and pretty much followed by lots of smiling and nodding and back patting about how hilarious it is going to be.

Recently on a long drive through the middle of nowhere we stopped at a BK for lunch because it was basically the only choice. There were crowns on every table. Of course I put it on.

The GE commercial with the Asian lady asking the GE chick all kinds of stupid questions about her job while on a bus. Something like "Blink once if what you do involves encrypted data transfer..." And then Asian chick spazzes out. It's tilting because it implies that encrypted data transfer is some sci-fi spooky crazy high-tech stuff - there's encrypted data transfer when you visit Yahoo's home page for crying out loud. Also tilting that the Asian chick's eyeballs look like they are about to fall out of their sockets.

Almost any of the ads from The Ad Council that play during commercials when you stream ESPN. The one with Wanda Sykes rebuking a group of teenagers for saying something is gay annoys me the most. I don't want tax dollars being spent policing my word choice.

My take on the brother is that they were going for the annoying younger sibling thing. It was just poorly written and so the kid comes off as being too stupid instead of annoying. I really doubt that in the meetings for this the kid was envisioned as being autistic or mildly ******ed.

I despise everyone is this commercial. It's like they tried to cast the most annoying hipster dbags they could find.

All of Verizon's commercials pretty much suck balls, this one being no exception.

It's great how strapping a phone to a block on your face is a thing that is marketed right now as "HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!?" when soon enough for the same/better experience it will look at most like people are wearing sunglasses.

They will look back and laugh.
