Went to very good undergrad 7 yrs ago...

Did something completely unrelated what I studied(LA obv)...

Back in school to study something entirely different...(CC right now full time)..

I might have to skirt FA questions...as far as specifics..

Not weak at all....

I would advise most every middle class kid to go the CC route these days.

Classes are well taught, scheduled conveniently and obv like 1/10th the cost.

My safe school was UIUC(Illinois) back in the day...to give you some perspective.

I'm 30 now. Just no way I can see myself going back to school. Its been 14 yrs, would probably get plagued by teenage social anxiety.

29, its been 7 yrs....none here.

I mean any night class is going to have at least 30% older type students from what ive seen.

MOST young adults right now will be doing this at some point in their careers imho...the days of 45 yr careers in one field are pretty much over unless you are a Dr. or something....it just isnt where we are going economically.

right now i'm looking into an 18 month post-baccalaureate program in medical imaging to become an x-ray technologist. i need a job. it seems like a decent enough gig that will be in demand for a while, and i live in an area known for education and hospitals.

Hijacker daren, I have three questions for you.

1) Do you find it harder to learn because you took a more than extended break off of school?

2) Are you "set" in the sense that you have your own place (ownership, mortgage completely paid)?

3) Do you find that images of Ashley Tisdale (preferably sh00ped n00ds) on the background of your laptop make it harder to learn?

I'm 27yrs. old and just started my first semester of grad school. I'm definitely on the younger side by a few years too. I'd say average is around 30.

Reason why this is a bad ask me thread is because there's nothing of interest to ask.

'How are your classes going?'
'Do you party?'
'Why go back to school?'

I went back to school in my early 30s. There were a bunch of ****ers there who were getting their tuition paid by the companies they worked for.

edit: okay, post-baccalaureate program so you finished school. What's your degree in?
