Damn this one got to me. I didn't even know he was ill.

Chappelle's show is easily one of the GOAT shows of all time and I know he did a lot of the writing. The rick james skits are just out of this world funny.

RIP darkness

If you are a Charlie Murphy fan you should really check out the skits he did for the Chappelle Show, a cable comedy program from a few years back. They were really funny. I think it is on Netflix.

I'm obligated (by desire to brag) that I was at the live taping of this episode; they also showed us the Rick James episode before, and then Dave just talked for like 30 minutes to an hour afterwards. Definitely one of the best experiences of my life, don't think I've ever laughed so hard before or since.

Thought I'd pass this along since I just got through listening. This is a good interview with Charlie on Joe Rogans Podcast back in 2013:

Spoiler:
Around the 50 minute mark, they start talking about cancer and death, cancer, etc and now, here we are, sad. He didn't start doing stand-up comedy until he was 42.
