I met Sam the Butcher from the Brady Bunch in a diner in northern Michigan. He was a nice guy.

Rode in an elevator in Vegas with Vince McMahon and his entourage right before the XFL started. Co-worker I was with said "Vince, what's up man! I can't wait for the XFL, its going to ****ing rock!" Vince said "yah thanks" as he got off.

just a PSA that in two weeks a 30 for 30 on the XFL airs and it will surely be great!

Having tended bar for 35 years I've met quite a few celebs, mostly from the sports world. In the early 80's I worked at a bar that attracted quite a few SD Chargers and WWF guys when they were in town. Waited on Dan Fouts, Charlie Joiner, Ed White & Jim Lachey among others. Actually became friends with Louie Kelcher (biggest hands I've ever seen, when he held a beer can you literally could not see the can).

The only douche was a guy named Cliff Thrift who was a backup LB. He came in with Leroy Jones who was freaking enormous, like 6'8". Thrift was a real red ass and wound up getting thrown out and was giving the bouncer crap. Luckily Leroy calmed the situation down and they left peacefully.

Greg 'The Hammer' Valentine, Adrian Adonis and The Hart Foundation were all customers. One afternoon I came in to work and Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart is sitting at the bar. Nice enough guy but for some reason he had a weightlifting belt on which I didn't notice until he got up to go to the bathroom. Only guy I've ever seen with a weightlifting belt on while sitting at a bar.

I've had my own place for 30 years now and since we're off the beaten path we don't get anywhere near the celebs my old bar got. Biggest ones are Matthew Modine, Ben Davidson and Speedy Duncan. Also Wee Man stopped in for dinner last year. All great guys.

Had an ex porn star and her girlfriend come in to sing Karaoke for awhile but I can't remember her name. Naturally I had to review some of her work and I was impressed. She definitely gained some weight after her film career but she was still pretty hot. Her girlfriend was younger and smoking hot. Not sure if she was in the industry or not.

Remembered the porn stars name: Olivia Saint.

My wife's cousin JD played MLB in the late 80's & early 90's for the Rangers and Reds. Took my son to see him play and we were talking to him down by the rail during pregame when Jose Rijo walks by. JD calls Jose over and introduces us and Jose plops a ball into my son's glove. Very cool.

Was playing golf at a Disney course 15 years ago or so. Ken Griffey Jr was in the group ahead of mine. We were finishing up on the green as they were teeing off on the next hole, and a big rain storm hit. There was a shelter between the the 2 holes, so both our groups ended up parked there for an hour or so, waiting for the storm to pass. He was as cool and laid back as you'd think he'd be.

He was an exceptionally nice guy. We were sitting court side at a clippers game and got there early. He came over to us and chatted us up, and said "fans like you are what permit me to lead a really great life, and I just wanted you to know that I appreciate it every single day."

During the game, a ref then teed him up and ejected him for spitting in the face of one of the clippers.

Isn't it funny how that can be a subtle clue? There's a sports broadcaster called Tony Veitch who I met very briefly IRL but used to sent him the odd text when he did his show on radio until he randomly sent me back a very abusive text when I merely asked why he was interviewing a certain person.

Few years go past and he becomes a national disgrace after breaking his wifes back by kicking her down the stairs.

Sat next to Carmen Electra while she did a rock and jock halftime football interview for the radio. Just happened to be at the table she sat at to do the interview, was like 15 maybe, pretty sure had a half boner

I've met a few, but a good celeb story comes from my brother. He was/is a very hardcore Bruins fan. When he was a student at UCLA he sent a letter to John Wooden and Wooden invited him over to his house and he hung out there for a while.

My girlfriend and I were browsing a store and this woman and her son were walking toward the store. We were on our way out so I held the door for them. She gave me a really nice smile and said thank you so much. It was Cate Blanchett. I never found her attractive but in that moment I melted into a pile of mush. She was really pretty in person.

I was an autograph hound in my early teens, mostly pro athletes. Met countless players outside stadiums and hotels. Most notably Wayne Gretzky, Mike Schmidt, Nolan Ryan, Pete Rose, Curt Schilling.

My favorite meeting was on the subway going to a Phillies vs. Astros game. Two older guys got on the train and I could tell they were somebody, nice suit, shoes jewelry. One guy had what looked like a world series ring from across the aisle. He looked familiar but I had no idea who he was. We got the the last stop on the line, the stadium, and they stood at the same door to get off. They asked me which stairs to get to the stadium and I told them to follow me. We exchanged a little small talk on the three minute walk to the stadium while I struggled to figure out who I was talking to. As we got near the players entrance to the stadium the other autograph hounds came running "Yogi, Yogi, Yogi..."

I showed Yogi Berra how to get to Veterans Stadium. To thus day I'm annoyed I didn't realize who he was and didn't get an autograph.

Had back stage passes for Kiss when they first started wearing makeup on stage again. They never showed up backstage, but Sebastion Bach, from Skid Row showed up. He stuck around for an hour or so and was really cool to everyone.

I worked at a convenience store in Bam Margeras hometown, West Chester. He and some of the jackass crew would come in frequently. Bam was terminally wasted and pretty much an ******* most of the time. One night he was in his car outside while his girlfriend ordered food inside. A couple collage girls came in and we're talking about Bam being outside. One made a comment about what an ******* he was not realizing that his girlfriend was next to her. Girlfriend goes outside and gets Bam so he could apparently prove what a dick he is because he comes in and gets in the girls face "you got something to say, say it to my face" type of thing. I had to convince him to drop it and leave the store.

On the complete opposite side of the spectrum was Ryan Dunn. Super nice to people that recognized him and was genuinely a nice guy.

I love jackass, (guilty pleasure) and you can tell by watching all the footage that he was definitely liked the least by everyone else. Would've blown me away if he wasn't a total knob.

Back in my broke, trying-to-make-it-as-a-musician days I worked for CSC in Orlando (event staffing - the "security" guys in the yellow shirts who do nothing more than tell you to put away your camera and the like)... anyway, I used to work the Orlando Rage games at the Citrus Bowl. I've never seen more alcohol-fueled depravity in my life as I did at those XFL games.
