I got a Mary Mayans bottle at the madrid airport a couple months ago and like it. I was hoping you had suggestions for brands that are sold in the US.

This for sure. You would have to be majorly lazy or obese to consider that. My lawn is a similar size and I've push mowed for years. It's hardly laborious.

+1, are you people serious? Buying a riding lawnmower for that yard would be about the unmanliest thing I can imagine. Also you can get push mowers that basically push themselves.

Kegerator? Actually nice to have if you entertain company regularly.

Also, live video feed of your place if you travel or work long hours, and nice for security regardless.

Goodluck with the casa.

it's just all around an incredibly stupid idea.

JTM - that's a really nice looking yard, well maintained, nice house too, congratulations

Do you want to come home after a long day and see the grass is long and think "ugh, I have to cut that this saturday instead of sitting around the house doing nothing?"

Or do you want to come home after a long day and go "oh the landscaper was here, my lawn looks beautiful right now and it only cost me $30, looking forward to doing enjoyable things this saturday" (I can't imagine it'd cost much more than that).

Never heard of this guy but after 5 minutes on his site I'm pretty sure he's a genius

I need to find that old mattress guy thread.
Going with the Stihl Kombi as linked earlier.

Solingen (and nothing but the Solingen)

Or, Henckels/Wusthof if you want to overpay.

You won't be sorry. I think it's probably saved me money in the long run.

I have a kegerator as well. It's pretty cool but it's super expensive unless you mainly drink one beer. I find myself buying sixth barrels because I like variety. They actually cost more than bottles, and if you drink good beer like I do your lame friends whine because it isnt some **** light beer.
